The staff were very good but the website were we booked from did not give the 2 days stay but one night. We had to find a other hotel for the next night. The inn was beautiful and the resterant was wonderful. Our room was amazing. I would go back in a heart beat.

The farm is very authentic and family-friendly. It is right next door to Sight and Sound theatre and has a walking path straight to the theatre. The breakfast selection is vast and everything was delicious. The room is normal sized as far as a hotel room goes but it lacks certain amenities, such as a desk. I would stay here again.

I have stayed here 8 times thru the years we come to the Sight and Sound Theater. We have stayed in the main inn and in the other buildings. The only reason we like the main in is because it has the pool right next to is for easy access. Not to say that the other buildings are far it is just more convenient. The place is clean, the staff is great, friendly. The Farm is great for a walk and to see animals that you can feed. The birds that fly in all during the day to the small pond is very nice. The restaurant is great also. The breakfast is great. It has a small shop and baked goods you can buy.

I went here to eat tonight with my brother and my father. We were greeted by a friendly employee and were given a table in a corner. First thing we noticed was a dead fly squished into one of our menu's. We let the waitress know about it and the only thing she said was "oh, okay." Didn't even replace it or apologize. Left the table with it there in front of us. There was also about a dozen or more flies buzzing around the table. As well as a lot of dirty food marks along the wall. My dad got the buffet and loved the food, but not so much his coffee,in which he said tasted like mud. My brother and I both ordered burgers off of the menu, his well done and mine medium rare. When we got them his was practically burnt and mine wasn't far behind it. The waitress was seemingly friendly throughout our visit after the menu fly thing. She kinda seemed hurried to get us out, or to not have to be around us (She asked me if I was done with my plate, while I was still eating, with over half of my food left). Overall I don't think I'd recommend this place to anyone I know. It was dirty, super overpriced, and maybe in need of new waitresses.

The smorgasbord breakfast here has everything imaginable so the cook to order omelets were my favorite. The breakfast is included in the price of the room, but the rooms are amazing for the price. I think it makes more sense to stay at a cheaper place and come here for breakfast anyway even though it is $10 or $15 per person.

Repeat visitor. The breakfast is my favorite in town, I come for the creamed chipped beef and baked French toast. Service is so friendly as always. And visit the bake shop! It's a must stop for my family

We stayed at the Hershey Farm Inn from 7/5/16 - 7/9/16. The room was ok. It had 2 queen beds and an outside porch area overlooking the pool. The bathroom was small but that is too be expected for a hotel. My main complaint with the room was the bugs. Not sure what kind they are since I'm no expert but they were all over the place, both alive ones and dead ones. They need to get an exterminator out there ASAP. We went with another family and my sister in law and their rooms were infested as well. The second day of our stay, we had our room cleaned by housekeeping. My wife had some expensive makeup STOLEN out of her makeup bag. We noticed the following morning when my wife went to get her makeup after showering. I went to the front desk at approximately 7:30am and was told that they did not think she would have done it because they never had any issues in the past and was a long time employee. I was told to send an email of what was stolen and they would let the housekeeping supervisor know when they got in at 9am. I did as requested and went on with my day. Around 3pm I had not been contacted so I sent a follow up email and was contacted within the hour. Maybe they were hoping I would forget. I was told that the housekeeper denied it but was willing to pay for what was stolen if it didn't turn up be checkout. Seems odd because if someone accused me of stealing something, I wouldn't offer to replace it unless I was guilty. Needless to say, I received a credit for the cost of the stolen item. Also, please beware of the benches and chairs by the playground equipment. They are so brittle that a 40 lb child would probably break it if they sat on it. Some other issues: the outside was filthy (see photos) Don't use the ice from the machine for anything other than filling a cooler. The filter is overdue for a change. (See photo)

Hershey Farm is kid friendly!
What are your kids most excited about when they visit Lancaster, PA? Maybe they can't wait for the rides and water play at Dutch Wonderland. Or they might be eager to ride an authentic Amish buggy, visit the Strasburg Railroad or watch a Sight and Sound show.
