Best addition to my  backpacking gear since the steripen. Works like magic. Sleeping on the ground just got a whole lot easier.

It was a great weekend for the regatta. Look for sail number 366 in photo 7. Yes, I'm now famous for putting my rudder on. May finally name the boat................ wait for it....................... Rear Guard!

Hopeless at this point, old dog and all that. Not exactly a sponge. Sort of like and old warped board, but what the heck, I'll play around and see what sticks. Italy here we come!

Quick paddle on the Silver. Oneway measure on the upstream work. Then mostly drifted quietly back down. Wildlife tally? Osprey with fish, hawk, doe, Great Blue, egrets, ducks, turtles, snake bird, and everyones favorite, the monkeys. #silversprings  #kayak #paddle

Renaissance Hillbilly, Jack of all trades master of none, go figure!
Introduction
Grew up on the banks of Blue Creek, Wv, near the end of the blacktop. Post office, Elkview. Taught to fear God, but it didn't take. Taught to fear alcohol, that didn't take either. Released back into the wild a few years back after 30 in captivity. (divorced). Worked 35 years at UAL and came out in one piece, barely. They got half my measly pension and gave the CEO 20 Mil for his great contribution, but I'm not bitter, really I'm not, seriously. Still love the outdoors, hiking, sailing, paddling, skiing, hey let's go!
Bragging rights
Blue collar worker and have traveled the world, not bad for a hillbilly kid.
Work
Occupation
Retired from ground work at UAL
Skills
I can fix a few things, fewer every day.

Looks to be state of the art, and the IMAX is, so another disappointing experience with low volume in the "normal screen" doesn't help to have a crying infant. Walked out, got refund, see it when comes to dvd.

The most pathetic servers, working crossword, earbuds in, couldn't make change. Really bad vibe. Long wait on a half empty diner.

Went there for brew and some lunch. Wow no real food. Beautiful new and large building, outside tables, But you have to bring your own food. Hard to justify the drive for a brew. Overpaid for a chunk of cheese and a handful of individually wrapped cracker.

Asked for the hoppyest brew, was served the least hoppy. Strike one! On two visits, staff cannot manage a smile. Strike two! Ordered a pulled pork sandwich with cherry BBQ sauce, could not taste the sauce, but the globs of fat in the pork came through. Strike three won't be back.

More restaurant than brewery. Expensive, unfriendly bartenders. Asked a simple question and was told to Google it. Would not go back.
