Just commented about this on Gizmodo UK:

OK, I’m not exactly known for harbouring much love for Microsoft, but I’m a decent enough guy to admit that the Metro UI is really something. It’s kind of a shame that it’s wasted on a device as unpopular as the Windows Phone (and soon Windows 8, which should help in that regard).

If the big M wants WP to succeed, then they need to get it onto more devices (meaning more marketing)? You know what might help? A WP version of the iPod touch. Seriously, I would seriously consider buying that (assuming the price is right).

Speaking of iPod touch equivalents, are the Samsung Galaxy Players still the only examples of Android “phones without the phones”? Google really ought to get a stock “Google Experience” version out there.
If your phone is running Windows Phone 7, you'll be able to upgrade to Windows Phone 8 when it comes out. Yes, even if your handset was among the first to market.
