We went to a wedding Saturday where they said yes to each other and became hyphenated for life. Lovely little do and a lovely couple: may they have much fun together!

Meet our new dog that we got home today from the Dogs Trust. http://woofy.woollypigs.com/2013/09/meet-tilley/
Today we picked up Scrappy, from now on know as Tilley. We had a 45min talk, telling us what to expect and what support we can from Dogs Trust and then filled on a few more forms for the Dogs Trust...

It is hard to believe that it is nearly 16 months since we started on our “little” tour. This photograph is taken on our second …

I honestly don't mind G's new changes to G+ I have quite a few people in my circles that I think that are interesting to follow. Mainly my two hobbies #photography  and #cycling  and if anyone wants to contact me they are welcome to do so.

What gets me is the new'ish icon, 9 grey dots, I have to click to get to all the various G products that I use. I much prefer the old black "header" where I could easy click between the products

And then there is the address book, hangout/GTalk and G+ linking together, it does my head in that I have people I never email in there. My contacts are my contact, my circles are my circles, I think there is only 5-10 people that I have in both. I enter a name lets say Tony and I get 15 people and only know 2 people called that, yes I follow the others, but that is different. My address book is people who and email and contact regularly not someone who I follow in circles.  I know what I mean.

The same goes with farcebook got people whom I am friends with there but don't have in my address book.

anywhoo rant over...

Tilley was feeling under the weather and had to have a trip to the vet yesterday,so it is time to the T-shirt of shame.

#Cycletouring in #Patagonia and #chile

The stunning La Ruta de Oro on Tierra del Fuego in Patagonia Southern Chile on our way to Porvenir in search for water and food.

A slight miss planning by yours truly, seen in the picture above taken by Peli, where I as was sure that 300 odd kilometres would take us around five-day, five and a half days tops. But on the third day it was clear that it would take more like seven days. The very strong wind (80km/h and above at times), very rough gravel road (aka ripio) and steep hills – slowed us down to an eight hours battle against the nature and our wills to gain just 15 kilometres.
