In October 2016, the American Academy of Pediatrics released an updated policy outlining how often and what type of media children and teens should consume. Previously, the AAP suggested that children be allowed no more than two hours of screen time a day at ages two and up.

November 15 is America Recycles Day. According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Americans recycled about 34% of their trash in 2013. The good news is this is a significant increase over the less than 10% that was recycled in 1980.
