Why do I think that Fluid isn't useful for rendering CSS?

Fluid is made and great for templating of dynamic data structures. Depending on the data, the output is different.
SASS is made and great for managing your CSS in an organized, flexible and less redundant way.

The only benefit you could get out of Fluid when rendering CSS is having the possibility to render different CSS for different data. I don't see a usecase for that. CSS styles for different states should be well defined beforehand and bound to classes reflecting these states.

So if you don't have the need for dynamic CSS, why reinventing the wheel and implement view helpers for what can already be done with SASS.

Use the right tool for the job.
