Of course there will be a FrOSCon 2015. But this time it is something special: It is the 10th FrOSCon! For such an organisation a big team is needed and of course we need every help we can get. There are a lot of different tasks to be done, i.e. material procurement, accounting, pr, searching for sponsors, creating a program, organize the volunteers, social event organisation, ...
If you wanna be part of the FrOSCon orga team, come to our KickOff Meeting on Dezember 8th, 7pm at Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg in Sankt Augustin (Room C153). There we will give a short presentation of our current team and the tasks.
We are looking forward to meet a lot of new and of course also knwen faces.
If you have a question leave a comment here or send a mail to kontakt@froscon.de.

As we are having some people over to play #zombicide, I decorated our kitchen for a little atmosphere. #zombies #boardgames

Looking forward. :)

For new visitors: We have a bouncy castle and a ball pit at #FrOSCon and it is not only for the small, but also the big kids. :)

Can't stress that enough. #hearing
Because of poor acoustics, students in classrooms miss 50 percent of what their teachers say and patients in hospitals have trouble sleeping because they continually feel stressed. Julian Treasure sounds a call to action for designers to pay attention to the “invisible architecture” of sound.

Just to be clear will you be geeking out on Linux, Stalinist architecture or both? The photo leaves questions open.

My latest bodypainting!

http://schrecklich.de/?p=228
I recently had the pleasure of making another baby belly body painting. My dear pregnant friend is a little obsessed with turquoise and thus the belly is themed in that color. She chose a beautiful symbol of growth, a tree with strong roots and a wide crown. See the final picture here, ...

Lina is super reliable and my cats love her! I really like that I can go on vacation and fully trust her to take care of my cats.

The X-Club is a very nice, alternative club in Munich, Schwabing. They play mostly rock (at least whenever I was there). Decoration is vintage/rock-cafe style. I did not try the food, but the drinks are fine. On a crowded night (which is often), you might need to wait to get a drink though. The entrance to the place is kind of hidden, not even a sign above the door. I find the club a welcome alternative to all the usual clubs in Munich.

I had pasta with lamb, it was delicious and worth the price (~12 EUR). Decor reminds a little of the 70ies, but not annoyingly much. I have nothing to complain about the service, the waiter was quick and friendly. No complaints about this restaurant!

Medieval restaurant with awesome food. The ambient is very much in the spirit of the Middle Ages, including the attire of the staff. The food is excellent and always enough to be full afterwards. The place is usually crowded, so be sure to make a reservation (at least on the weekends). Be aware: the name of the place derives from a medieval torture device, which is used on people who come to the restaurant on their birthday. ;)
