One beautiful (and expensive) watch design.
Once they figured how to use gears and other mechanisms to accurately keep track of time, watchmakers expanded what their clockwork creations could do. Timepieces became even more mesmerizing to look at, and as Frédéric Jouvenot's new Sîn watch proves, that's kept mechanical watches relevant and desirable even in a time where everyone has a far more capable smartphone in their pocket.

Some real thoughtful design touches here.

Amazing. Sunset view was so beautiful. Salmon and lobster avocado salad were terrific.

Simply the best restaurant in all of Jamaica, Queens. It has an elegant Manhattan vibe, with polished dark wood tables, high ceilings, low hung lighting, and a centralized well stocked bar. The food was terrific, with tangy juicy chicken and ribs that came clean off the bone. Try the sangrias (both red & white) and the Pina Colada (it was sweet, but that's how I like it). I will come back as often as I can. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

Nice quiet little place with friendly folks and an interesting collection of fish and amphibians. Makes for a good afternoon for the younger kids, feeding fish, turtles, and reading exhibits.
