Amazon CEO says discovery is Apollo 11 rocket engines
"Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos rescued sunken treasure in the Atlantic this year: components of two F-1 rocket engines. Now he says he has verified that they are engines from Apollo 11, the first mission that took U.S. astronauts to the moon."
Brilliant slow motion video of great physical tricks performed by Circus athletes! I love juggling bit, because it could be used to explain a number of Physics phenomena. For example, when juggling in the air a teacher could ask they students to describe the forces when the balls are in contact with the juggler's hands and when they are in the air. But when he bounces the balls we can describe the energy transfers and there are a few lovely shots of the balls getting squashed as they touch the floor. The man on the ropes is also pretty impressive and a nice discussion about antagonistic muscles can be generated as learners watch the video. Another idea could be to mute the video and get learners to script their explanation to read out as they play the video.
