Our first RV road trip won't be our last. We loved it. Tried it? Tips? Destinations we should try? I'm all ears.
Hitting the road in a 24-foot motorhome offered our road trip-loving family something no other vehicle has done: complete freedom. But it wasn’t without its hiccups

You can take your kids to any museum to look at dinosaur skeletons, but if you want to dig them up yourself...well, that's when you head out to the Royal Tyrrell in Alberta.
Globetrotting Kid Cameron, 9, shares his experience digging for dinosaur bones at the Royal Tyrrell Museum in Drumheller, Alberta.

Hotels and Resorts  -

Just back from Grand Velas Resort in Mexico. Five star accommodation (and dining!) and both my son and his grandmother had a blast.

Shared my thoughts on the #banbossy campaign on Canadian National Television this morning. Seems we panelists (Alyson Schafer and +Maureen Dennis ) were in agreement! The #parentpanel is a recurring feature on Canada AM.

Spring Cleaning is a family sport around here. Glad to see +Kathy Buckworth  agrees.
Although spring cleaning is a great way to herald in the new season, traditionally the bulk of the chores fall on mom (or dad). My advice? Spread the chores around by getting the kids involved. Even kids as young as five or six can pitch in so that when the temperatures do finally warm up outside, you won't be tied down and tired from too many chores inside.

This Globetrotting Mama is living the life of a lifetime. 2 sons, 1 husband, 0 regrets.
Introduction

Before June 2011 our days consisted of making school lunches and working and going to school and wondering what to make for dinner and driving from karate practice to swimming practice to soccer practice before collapsing in bed.

And in the moments in between we wondered if there was more to life.

We dreamed of seeing the world with our kids. We imagined having more time to do nothing (and everything) together. We hoped that one day we’d make it happen. And then one day we decided to do it.
