Working "windshield wipers". These are killer. This is 12 total, but 6 on each side. Really want 10, with a total of 20. Will post when I make it!

Are you a little hard on yourself? Maybe a lot? Being tough on yourself so you'll stick with a plan - great. Being mean to yourself - not ok. Here are "7 Ways To STOP Hacking Into Your Body Image" so you can finally get ahead of your game.

http://www.smashfit.com/blog/7-ways-stop-hacking-your-body-image
We're all harder on ourselves than anyone else is when it comes to our body. We see every tiny imperfection, every dimple, line, crease, and fold, even though other's may tilt their head in confusion at what you're seeing exactly. But this constant self demolition doesn't do you any good and ...

Thus was my Day 1 of 22 #22pushups for #22kill to raise awareness for suicide prevention. 22 #veterans die of suicide everyday. The trauma caused to these soldiers deserves our time and attention. Spread the word and get FIT! I have a helper with me.

. My husband served as a Marine so on top of his wonderful service are so many military friends. To see first hand the honor and commitment to our country is quite something and to know some are suffering so badly.. I also lost someone very close to me to suicide. This is for them.

You do no good by putting everything and everyone ahead of you. You have to let yourself shine... so others can see.

How To Shape Your Shoulders

The shoulder makes the arm I always say, so in order to get that nice round shape, you have to hit all three head of the shoulder. Shoot for 15 reps and pick a weight where you begin to struggle around 12 reps. If you need to rest a moment to finish them, that's ok. Muscles grow when you push them so if can do 15 reps no problem, there's no reason for them to get stronger. When 15 reps gets easy it's time up your weights. There are lots of different shoulder moves, but this is one of the best basics to have. Good Luck!

Ahhhhh... in my power rejuvenating chamber (the gym). I'm emotionally exhausted from all the election crud.

Sidenote... the chair in the picture... a friend pointed out a video where people crawled around it without touching the floor and I thought I would try it... but I really think I need a much much heavier chair ;) #nofaceplant

Ever have a great week, feeling strong, feeling tighter, smaller, leaner and like your hard work is finally paying off and then you step on the scale and BOOM, those good feelings all fall apart. That's why I think Scales Are Bad. But let me clarify... here's my story.

http://www.smashfit.com/blog/scale-are-bad
Ok. Let me clarify. Scales in and of themselves are not bad since they are just plastic and metal and they are just doing what scales do...weigh things. But what they don't do is take into account your feelings; like how hard you've been working out, and how great you've been eating, ...

REACH FOR IT.
How hard are you working to reach your goal?
Are you getting to it when you can? Are you sorta working hard at it? Are you putting everyone and everything ahead of you? Are you finding the I-have-no-time dialogue a convenient excuse?
Chances are you, if your life depended on it, you'd do everything in your power to move what's in your way OUT of your way and you'd find the time or MAKE it.
Because your life does depend it.
What you want isn't that far away. Time is relative when you're working towards your wants but the more time you waste at a sorta-attempt at happiness, the longer and more tedious and more frustrating it gets until you loose steam and vision.
Don't settle. It's nowhere near being too late.
It's time to really stretchhhhhhh, as hard as you can, and put in the drive and focus until you REACH it.
Will it be easy? No. Will it be worth it? Beyond words.

Story
Tagline
Founder of SmashFit, Fitness-Xpert for NBC show Miami Mom's, & in pursuit of all that makes me laugh
Introduction
I'm the President and founder of SmashFit.com, the first personal trainer and fitness matching website on the net. Both client AND trainer match so it's a match *both* ways. Think matchmaking for fitness.

I'm also the fitness expert on a new show called "Miami Mom's" on our new NBC Miami Nonstop Station where I get to add some fun and function to getting fitnesscized.

My primary push in fitness training is the mind - "Your fitness is 100% mental. Your body won't go where your mind doesn't push it." This is the heart of what I write about. There are thousands of workouts, magazines and books with all the information you need, but making yourself DO IT, the right way, and consistently, takes mental training, not just physical training.

I love to train, and have competed for several years in Figure competitions on both a local and national level - feminized bodybuilding I call it. The goal is symmetry and femininity, not size. But even more important to me than musculating is to be all-over fit and healthy and to prove the guys wrong - women CAN do pull-ups! What you see on the outside is what I've worked out on the inside.

Before my fitness career, I was a graphic designer and am still an artist. I've had my work published in calendars, journals and cards and aspire to bring them to SmashFit.

I approach all things in life with a sense of Of-Course-I-Can-itude. What I know, I want to share, and what I don't know I want to learn. I think when you bring your passions outside of your imagination, magic happens.

Bragging rights
I got into the shape of my life AFTER 2 kids. Took home two 1st place trophies the same night. Still have the record at my elementary school for the most pull ups - 39.
