Well I am rather generous! I now upload 1500px longest side however I used to upload 1000px. Reason being I'm selling my photography so the better the image looks onscreen the better my clients think I am. Of course I do get people stealing my images (not giving credit). I sometimes do a google image search on my images to weed a few out and insist they link to my website or remove the image. It does help with link building, but I don't have much time for it now. I see it as recording or downloading a piece of music, it's going to happen anyway, so I tend not to worry. If I didn't share my work so much, I certainly would not have as many clients, and I make more money from my clients than I ever would trying to squeeze money out of people for low res files :)

This is Shoreham Harbour and docks the power station reflected in the harbour. i often turn things around, especially when the reflection is clear. If you do this remember to take much more of the bottom of the image in your viewfinder, put the horizon about a third of the way down from the top of the frame.

Today Google has lunched Google+ Collections (take a look at my first my collections).  Here I will share my thoughts and experiences and suggest how you can use collections to your advantage. I don't know why BUT I get sick in my stomach just looking at this picture. I would totally have an heart attack & die if someone forced me to walk through this tunnel. Another weird reaction.. I got sick looking UP from the feet at the Statue of Liberty Staten Island N.Y. . Something to do with movement/above.

#Street in #Paris , used flash to light up the flowers a stall seller just placed on the ground  f11 brings out the starburst. Usual 16-35mm lens at 16mm

Want to do much more of these. Placing the starburst makes a lot of difference to an image, clipped between two people here it accentuates the rays and reduces the burnout.

Another Bride preparation image of Linda. The mirrors were a gift. Taken with an 85mm fixed lens. Because my model is facing the window light all the best images were reflections. The large french doors provided perfect even diffused light.

Curlew sandpiper (Calidris ferruginea) in the Camargue France. Not usually a wildlife photographer but the light was so beautiful and the reflections superb. It was a lovely moment to capture.
