I have been a member with HealthRidge Fitness for the last year. The staff is always friendly and it is always clean. I love the classes that they offer, especially yoga. Indoor track is great especially in the winter. I also love the heated indoor pool and the outdoor pool is gorgeous in the summer time . HealthRidge is a great place to workout and to relax.

If I could give a 3.5 star, I would. I'd say that's a more accurate representation compared to all of these 5 stars. Overall, very nice gym (and huge). Outdoor pool is awesome in the summer time, there's a bar out there too which makes it even better. Has a very big indoor pool that seems nice, but never used it. Nice indoor track, has a path outside too but I never used it. Has a decent basketball court but the actual basketballs are a little subpar. Free weights area has about everything you need - however my biggest downer is the fact they don't have any hammer-strength plate-loaded machines. But that's coming from someone who spends most of their time strength training. Also, the weight machines (forgot what line of machines they are) are imo very sub-par for such a nice gym. As you're performing you movement, the resistance will change halfway through, it's hard to explain, I just really don't like the weight machines and have heard similar complaints from my peers who go there. All of the cardio machines are impressive, however. Every bell and whistle you can think of (tvs and fans are nice but completely uneccesary I believe). The punching bags at the peak of Mt. HealthRidge are nice too. I can't completely judge the fitness classes since I never took any, but it seems like your options for fitness classes at this gym are vast. I love that all the lockers have the 4 digit automatic locks, definitely a huge plus - never seen that before at any gym. The locker rooms are a little far from the rest of the gym, but it's not that big of a deal. Overall - seems great for families, or for those just into 'general fitness', however if you are more into the weightlifting aspect of fitness, this just isn't the best gym for you.

Premium gym with many amenities. The indoor track is 1/8th of a mile which is great. In-house cafe.

I just joined HealthRidge Fitness two weeks ago and I am enjoying the group classes. Large facility with no wait time for the machines. Great place to work out!

Would be a great place..... except their maintenance sucks. Showers have been out of order for months. Now so many are out of order that you have to stand in a line of 10 naked men for 40 minutes to get a turn. Not my idea of how to spend my time! Will be cancelling my membership and encouraging everyone I know to cancel too if they don't get their basic issues fixed by the end of the week.

My family and I (2 adults, 2 children under 5) have been members at HealthRidge for about 2 years now, and we love it. After reading some of the reviews below, I'm not sure what club people are actually referring to. It's not high-pressure: the sales rep who showed me around was friendly and didn't pressure me at all. They don't nag you about doing for-pay events: I had my one free personal training session, told her I wasn't interested in having another, and that was the last I heard about it. She still was friendly when she saw me working out. When I have asked about various groups/classes that are additional-cost, I have gotten information and never felt pressured to join. My kids love the kids area. I am keeping them away during flu season (it's clean, but it's still flu season), and my kids ask when we're going back. The addition of the outdoor pool was a nice addition - though it is FREEZING, even when it's 90+ outside. I never have problems finding a machine to work out on, and I LOVE the indoor track - probably the biggest reason I stay. The cafe has a wide variety of snacks, but I haven't eaten any of their sandwiches, just snacks. Biggest negative is the cost, which is why I'm not putting it at "excellent", but it's not that much more than the local Y and the facility is much nicer. Wish classes fit better into my schedule, but that's more my issue than the club's.
