The Basic Yoga class on Tues. morning at 8:30 is getting very crowded. There were 39 people in it today and it was difficult to see where the instructor was. This class in consistently well attended and crowded. It would be very nice if another section of basic yoga with Nicole as the instructor were added another morning during the week. When so many people find this class enjoyable and beneficial, it would be a wise decision of the management to add another section to reward the members..

I’ve been a member for 8 years, 5-6 days a week and this is a wonderful place to work out. When Lifetime opened I joined their too and kept both memberships about a year and then dropped Lifetime because Healthridge in every category (except for the food bar) is better. During the first quarter of the year when all the parking spaces are full (yes you might have to walk a good distance to the door but remember you are going to the gym) you can walk in and never feel like the place is too busy or too full. They have a large selection of cardio equipment all with your own TV (indoor track 1/8 mile) and they have a very large selection of machines. When you are working on the same body part there are plenty of options so that you do not have to wait your turn or work into someone’s time at the machine. Their maintenance people keep the equipment up and the trainers are top notch (many are the same faces every year). I have trained with a couple of them and I watch all of them train clients daily and they are ALL very professional. I've read negative reviews and I just have to say, if you are intimidated or have a negative comment for any of these guys it is due to your own insecurities, poor verbal skills and you most likely have issues outside of this gym in your everyday life. At any given time over the past 8 years the staff from the greeters at the door and all the departments in between have been very friendly, kind, and helpful. The class schedule runs in the morning and night and there are many to choose from that are free and come with the membership. The instructors are great and you can work out to your level of fitness. If you are not sweating after a class it is because you did not put enough effort into it. There are also additional classes that require payment. All of these classes are good to mix it up. The additional cost is not that much and you can try out the class to see if it is what you want to do before you pay. The lockers have had lock replacements on about ½ of the units. The locker room is always clean and so are the showers. They could use tile or new carpeting in the locker room because it has begun to show wear.

Staff is incredible, very helpful and always smiling. All the programs offered are the real deal taught by professionals. Facility has all you would ever need. I would vote this the fitness center #1 for best value and best health club around this area. I have and will refer this center to anyone thinking about a health club!!! Peace Seth

The facility creates a facade of a high class resort but they charge you for more. The monthly membership cost me more than a first rate golf course without the golf course. But the worst experience I got from the facility was the pretentiousness of the staff and the prices of the snacks at the cafe. The personal trainers purport a high-school-too-popular-to-talk-to-you mentality and avoid any encounter with the members at every cost. In fact, should you ask them for tips on exercises, be prepared to get the sense that you are waste of their time. Sorry, but this isn't the place for me, I have too much dignity and integrity to be treated like that.

We never really enjoyed our time at HealthRidge Fitness Center. My main issues... -Childcare seemed to have hard time keeping our daughter happy, and when they were asked about this I was told that most children are happy there implying there was something wrong with her that she wasn't happy. -Outside pool looks amazing, but is always freezing. -Lockers rarely worked in the ladies room (but perhaps have been fixed by now). The mens locker room had similar issues, but theirs were replaced. -I always brought my water from home as it never appeared the water fountains were cleaned and the water tasted funny. -I had issues canceling our contract (read the contact people) with them and while talking with Brenda in membership services she pretended to lose connection with me and hung up the phone.

I finally found my niche! Cliché, I know, but truthfully I love going to HealthRidge Fitness Center almost every day. My goal was simple: to get in better shape and feel better physically. We have all been there, right? I work 10 hour days during the week and play taxi for my children’s extracurricular activities every evening, so I needed to find something worth my time. So, here I am pushing 40 years old with painful knees, painful back, and no energy. I had taken kickboxing years before, so when my new neighbor asked me to join HealthRidge Fight Club with her, I jumped on the invitation as I was super excited for a change! I just didn’t realize how big this change was about to become for me. I only have 1 hour a day, my lunch hour, so again, it was crucial that I find a gym and/or program that could pack in as much intense, calorie burning core workout as possible. Now, I have been a member for over a year and have utilized programs such as Fight Club, Crossfit, Studio yoga, pilates, Zumba, etc. and love it! I went from a size 16 to a size 10 and feel much stronger, pain free and simply awesome. It is a positive, super friendly, supportive family that not only holds you accountable but encourages each other when struggling or just spent. As I continue to build strength, muscle and stamina on this journey, I cannot imagine HealthRidge Fitness Center and its employees not be part of it! I am very thankful and whole heartedly recommend HealthRidge Fitness Center as THE gym and family to be part of!

I love this place. Machines are always available, the staff is friendly. The childcare facility takes kids from six weeks old and our newborn is very spoiled every time he stays there. I like the fact that they provide towels, restroom and locker area is very nice. I am very impressed with this place.
