Ok, long time no post. But here we go... After attending a course at Entropy Physical Therapy my thoughts returned to sleep. Prompted by Susan Clinton's comment (taken from twitter)

"Radical Self Care: When in chaos, you need to double down on the self care strategies (Sleep, exercise, laugh, eat well)".

How simple, we are always focused on the latest diet and exercise trend for the sake of your health. Self care need not be radical if we are focusing on the simple things.

With that I am posting a link about sleep.

Foam Rolling IS NOT MYOFASCIAL RELEASE. So often people get the two confused. This article points out why it is erroneous to focus on the IT Band as the primary cause of the pain. So often practitioners focus on the symptom rather than the problem. The article points out that beating up your IT Band is not the solution.

I had an amazing week last week at "The Sanctuary", mastering my craft with John, and his fellow amazing PTs Carol and Kim. It was quite an opportunity to train with your mentor alongside other MFR therapist, Lisa, Rhonda and Joy. It is an experience that will stay with me for a long time. Forever grateful, and forever "letting it go".
