A #HDPVRCapture user recently contacted our support team regarding an audio dropout issue he was experiencing when using the ‘Split large recordings into multiple files’ feature.

To get round this, we can use the ‘cat’ command in the #Terminal window on the Mac to join the files back together so they play seamlessly, and with no missing audio issues.

Over the last couple of months or so, we have had a number of users contact us on support regarding a ‘no signal detection’ issue when trying to capture gameplay content from the #PS4.

A number of these users were unaware that you may need to disable HDCP protection in the PS4 System settings menu before you are able to get a valid signal lock in the #HDPVRCapture application.

We decided to put together this short video tutorial which walks you through the process of disabling the HDCP protection on the PS4 so you are able to capture gameplay content with HDPVRCapture.

With the recent introduction of #HDPVRCapture  v3.7 support for OS X #ElCapitan  (10.11), we’re announcing today that HDPVRCapture versions v3.8 and higher will no longer support OS X #MountainLion  (10.8). The minimum version of OS X required to run HDPVRCapture will increase from 10.8.5 to 10.9.5 ( #Mavericks  ).

Please take a moment to review your free Apple Operating System upgrade options in the OS X App Store.

As always, we recommend you upgrade your Mac Operating System and stay current, where possible.

HDPVRCapture and iMovie 10.x tutorial now online!

In our latest video tutorial release, we show you how easy it is to import, edit, add a commentary track and export your final video to .mp4 using iMovie 10.x

We are really happy with the release of iMovie 10.x and some of it's great new features. One feature we were really impressed with is the ability to now import your .m2ts recordings straight into iMovie 10.x without having to convert them to .mp4 first. This makes editing your HDPVRCapture recordings a much easier and quicker process.

You can find more HDPVRCapture video tutorials on our tutorials page, here .. http://www.hdpvrcapture.com/wordpress/?page_id=1811

As always, we hope you find this tutorial helpful.
