Sweet potatoes are a great non-starchy carb and a source of vitamin C, making them a fantastic alternative to regular potatoes. For a healthy snack, try these Sweet Potato Chips With Chipotle Yogurt or your favourite sauce. Simply preheat the oven to 200ºC, cut a sweet potato lengthways, sprinkle with a pinch of sea salt, and drizzle with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Then, spread out the chips into a single layer on a large baking tray, and bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until golden and cooked through. Finally, Mix together 2 tablespoons of plain low-fat yogurt and ½ teaspoon chipotles in adobo sauce and serve for dipping.
