Underperformance, anxiety, procrastination, stifling automatic behaviours like comfort/binge eating… There’s nothing more frustrating than feeling like you are your own worst enemy. But we don’t have to feel that way.

By learning how to deconstruct your self-sabotaging thought processes, you can empower yourself with the ability to create new and better ones.

Thought Engineering is a four week online course for people who want to understand, and ultimately influence, the workings of their unconscious mind.

The next course will begin on Monday 30th May and costs just £69. Click the link for more info or to sign up today.

FREE Self-Hypnosis Audio & Thought Engineering Process

Sign up here to receive a complimentary twenty minute self-hypnosis recording and Thought Engineering process to help you train your own mind out of its problematic thinking patterns.

We all know what it’s like to find ourselves doing something that stifles our success, or to feel that in some way our development or happiness is being restricted by fear, doubt or anxiety.

You can learn about how your mind comes to the conclusions it does when you find yourself feeling or doing something you'd rather not. Then you can use this information while listening to the self-hypnosis recording to begin changing your perspective on the things the cause you undue stress, anxiety or worry.

Cognitive Hypnotherapy is not about miracle cures or magic spells, it's a learning process that better equips you to deal with life in a more calm, comfortable and rational way. You can start your journey here.

If you like what you read and hear, you can book a two hour private session for £195 or sign up to one of my online Thought Engineering courses for just £69.

Courses run over four weeks and include exclusive audio recordings, tasks to help you master your own thinking, and membership to a private Facebook group in which myself and other course members discuss the material.

The next Thought Engineering course begins 30th May. More about that here: http://hazelgale.com/home/online-courses/

Four Week Online Cognitive Hypnotherapy Course For Stress, Anxiety & Self-sabotage

25th - 22nd May.

Join me for a monthlong workshop of weekly tasks and cognitive hypnotherapy recordings to overcome your unwarranted emotions or unwanted automatic behaviours.

The information will be sent to you via email each week and the course members join me in a (closed and private) Facebook group to discus their progress, ask questions and share their experience of the processes involved. The group is optional but highly recommended.

As a thank you for your early interest, anyone who signs up before the 15th April will receive a 50% discount (which means it will cost £49.50 rather than £99 for the four weeks. Bargain.)

Email me at hazel@hazelgale.co.uk to claim your discount.

The course:
In case you still need convincing, here's what you can choose to address by signing up.

This course is aimed at people who struggle with anxiety and/or self-sabotaging behaviours. Typical complaints would include:

Social anxiety;
Work anxiety;
Shyness, lack of confidence or self-belief;
Chronic procrastination or avoidance of challenge;
Chronic underperformance;
Other fears that stifle success in work, like fear of public speaking or giving presentations;

Ultimately, any unwanted behaviour or unwarranted emotion that you feel holds you back in life can be tackled with these processes. If you're unsure whether your problem will suit the material, drop me a brief email explaining your desired focus and I'll let you know if it's a fit.

Course contents:
Here's what the course will include:

Four weeks in a Facebook group with myself and the other group members. I'll be on hand to answer any questions and keep the group updated with the weekly tasks and other useful information like videos and articles. Group members can discuss the processes and compare notes with each other. It's a generally fun and interesting (virtual) place to be as well as a platform to offer and receive support from people with similar issues.

Each week you will be given new information and tricks designed to help you take control of your unconscious thought processes and automatic behaviours.

You'll be given various tasks. These will include simple journalling tasks as well as some more in-depth visualisation tasks to help you get to the root of your problem and create permanent change.

You'll receive a different cognitive hypnotherapy recording each week to listen to daily and consolidate the unconscious changes that you're making.

By the end of the course, you will have learned a great deal about how your mind works and how you can make it work better for you.

Weekly breakdown:

Week 1:
 learn how to identify your problem behaviour or emotion and how to break down the structure of the thoughts involved.
- learn what "type" of thinker you are and how you can put this information to use.
- the laying down of the foundations for powerful tools of relaxation. Over the course, we'll be building a relaxation anchor that you can use in any situation to overcome anxiety. Week 1 focusses on this task.
- the week 1 recording helps you to access a state of relaxation so that you can build your anchor.

Week 2:
- define the path that you'd like to take as you improve and what your solution really looks like.
- learn the role that memory plays in your issue, and how this can be influenced.
- complete a creative visualisation process to affect change within your key, formative memories.
- the week 2 recording helps you to steer your mind in the direction you'd most like to go.

Week 3:
- learn how to use your body language to affect your psychological state.
- a creative visualisation process to engage you in a dialogue with the "part" of your psyche that creates the issue.
- the week 3 recording helps you to maintain awareness and control of your physiology.

Week 4:
- learn the coding system that your unconscious mind uses to influence your thoughts, actions and feelings.
- learn how to create and install positive habits.
- the week 4 recording wraps everything up and encourages your mind to take on a more positive perspective.

Practically everything we do is habitual. We follow programmed patterns of behaviour when we brush our teeth, tie our shoelaces, go to work, the gym, the pub… We learn a sequence of steps for a certain outcome and then we stick with it.

But of course, there are good ones and there are bad ones. This article looks at how habits are formed and explains a simple process to reroute unwanted behaviours and install some more desirable ones.

Why We Avoid The Important Stuff
(A five minute read)

We spend our lives striving for a sense of achievement, and usually one which can be shared. We want to make stuff that we can show to people and say: “See! I am a worthwhile part of this world”.

So what, exactly, is that blocked feeling which can quite comfortably choose daytime TV over writing a bestseller?

And why is it sometimes so difficult to change course, even when it’s clear that we’re headed in the wrong direction?
