"You will get there when you are meant to get there. So relax, breathe and be patient."

As much as you can be focused, proactive and driven, things do happen in their own time.

When you feel yourself pushing for something to happen - that is your queue to stop and take stock.

The pushing may be having the opposite effect to what you desire and actually slowing down your progress, whilst also causing you a bunch of stress.

So do what you can, but also build in space to relax and trust that things are exactly as they are supposed to be in this moment right now.

"Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is relax."

When stress seems to be getting the better of you, and there is still a million things to do, and you are feeling overwhelmed and frazzled by it all...

Sometimes you just need to take a time-out and relax.

It may seem counterproductive, but it actually helps calm you down. Which then leads to clarity of thought, which will actually help you deal better with whatever is going on for you.

Even if it is just going outside for 5 minutes. If you feel stressed or overwhelmed, just do it.

"When you complain, you make yourself a victim. Leave the situation, change the situation, or accept it. All else is madness."

This is such a big truth! Although I would add a forthe option - to shift your energy on that situation.

I have an ongoing debate with my energy work colleagues about whether it is okay to voice negatives and complain.

The argument against it is that you are giving power to the negative energy of what you are complaining about. Plus you are sharing a negative with someone else which can then negatively impact on their energy as well.

However, as someone who gets clarity through voicing my thoughts, I find it helpful to share my thoughts out loud, the shitty as well as the shiny, as it helps me to get a fresh perspective and then I know what I need to do the energy work on to clear it.

But that is a the key thing. I do go and do the work on it. I don't stay in victim mode for long. I face what is bothering me and I shift my energy so that it no longer has the same effect on me.

I also am thankful to the person I have been sharing with and make sure that I am not repeating the pattern of moaning about the same things over and over with no movement on it.

So notice if you slip into a pattern of complaining about the same things over and over to the same people, and be conscious that they may not actually like how it feels to be at the receiving end of this broken record!

"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf."

It isn't important what happens to you. What is important is how you respond to it.

There is no right or wrong. You can buckle to the waves. You can fight the waves. You can celebrate the waves. You can surrender to the waves. You can ride the waves.

What matters is how you feel. If you feel good, if you feel relief, if you feel relaxed etc. then they are signs that you are responding in a a way that is helpful for you.

If you feel anxious, stressed, angry etc. then that siginifies that you have some work to do with your energy on that topic. But don't beat yourself up about that. Just know that you can choose to change it should you wish you. It is your choice.

"I am in the right place, at the right time, doing the right thing."

This is such a useful thing to have in mind. I know I have needed to affirm this to myself lately as I stretch my comfort zone with the new programme!

Somethings things do feel hard and stressful, but knowing that ultimately you are exactly where you are supposed to be right now is immensely powerful.

If you need to write this down to remember it - do it! It is so worth it to be able to draw on this phrase when things get tough.

"Calm is a super power."

As an Avengers fan, I love this.

When your default setting is calm it makes things so much better and so much easier.

Whenever you find yourself getting into a resistant state, such as stress, anxiety or fear, firstly just notice that it is happening. Don't judge yourself. Accept it for what it is and then set the intention to soften it and let it go.

Always aim to get back up to a place of calm as that is where you will find the whole world of inspiration, intuition and opportunities are waiting for you.

"What we fear doing most is usually what we need to do most."

What is it that you are currently scared of doing that you secretly know is exactly the thing you need to be doing in order to be living as the most powerful and best you?

I don't believe in feeling the fear and do it anyway. I prefer to feel the fear, release it and then do it from a place of calm and joy and positivity. That way is so much easier than trying to push and force your way through!

And how do I do that? I EAM it of course!

EAM is an amazing technique that I use on myself and with clients and it can literally help you feel better and enable you to do what it is that you really want to be doing from a place of positivity rather than forcing it.
