@TiVo's #Haxe team has put some thought into the IDEs and summarised the results in a Wikipedia page
This page is a new unreviewed article. This template should be removed once the page has been reviewed by someone other than its creator; if necessary the page should be appropriately tagged for cleanup. (May 2015). Contents. 1 Introduction; 2 IDEs. 2.1 Availability; 2.2 Syntax, parsing, ...

I would really like help at Haxe Conference to setup Sublime, Vim, and Intellij with guidance on full use by experts that have these preferences so that I can maybe counter what seems a bit of a biased appraisal in that I feel it misses the point and perhaps misleads users.  I suspect I will stick with TM and FD with an interest in Atom, but I challenge TiVo to convert me to whatever IDE they feel is best, but currently I honestly don't see how this Wiki page is really useful in the message it gives new users.  But I realize it's a complex and subjective subject.

Here is Brendon 's Haxe Roundup № 315
Andy Li has taken the lead in getting Haxe officially supported on Travis CI with help from Cauê Waneck and Simon Krajewski. Testing your Haxe project has been greatly simplified now, checked out the guide to using Haxe on Travis CI. Remember, if you want full, cross-platform testing consider travis-hx which provides helpers to test you project on Travis CI, Appveyor and SauceLabs.

Starling for Haxe |

Pete Shand
I'm pleased to announce the alpha release of haxe-starling, a Haxe port of the “Starling Framework“, the popular AS3 hardware accelerated 2D graphics library. haxe-starling currently supports Flash, AIR for desktop, AIR for mobile and HTML5 as targets. That being said we will look at the ...

Very interesting well done on the hard work.
Does this work on android?
could you not use enum here?
https://github.com/peteshand/haxe-starling/blob/master/src/starling/utils/ScaleMode.hx
You seem to use Dynamic that will be slow?
https://github.com/peteshand/haxe-starling/blob/master/src/starling/utils/AssetManager.hx#L594
You should be able to use a complex enum to remove the need for dynamic here.
Another Dynamic here?
https://github.com/peteshand/haxe-starling/blob/master/src/starling/utils/AssetManager.hx#L1322
It maybe hard but really you need to remove all dynamic to get best speed and it's normally possible.
If a getter setter does nothing then remove it, using a getter setter in haxe flash just to look like a good java coder is going to slow the app down I would remove them and just use a public var.
https://github.com/peteshand/haxe-starling/blob/master/src/starling/utils/AssetManager.hx#L1482
Another Dynamic... you need to remove all dynamic from your codebase.
https://github.com/peteshand/haxe-starling/blob/master/src/starling/utils/SystemUtil.hx#L26
My suggestion is use more enum especially if you see a string and complex enums to help cope with some of the Dynamic cases.  Until you remove dynamic your not going to improve on as3 performance I suspect and if you can get away with making a var public instead of getter setter then do so.

Platform Agnostic Open Source Language
Introduction
Most of languages have their own platform : ActionScript has Flash, Java the JVM, C# has .Net, Javascript the web browser. What makes Haxe unique is being platform independent. Haxe is a high level strictly typed programming language that compiles natively to mainstream platforms.
