Words can't express how grateful and impressed I am by the level of service provided in assisting my mother in her time of need. My 70 year old mother, who was traveling alone, was stranded in Oahu for 2 days because of a cancelled flight. The airline only provided a hotel voucher for 1 night, and upon arrival at the hotel, my mother was told that no rooms available were available. I called the airline, and they insisted that they couldn't provide any assistance for my mother and that they could only refer me to a travel agent who could book a room at a discount, on my dime! Instead, I called Hawaii Prince Hotel, and they said that they would honor the voucher for the other hotel. Here is where Hawaii Prince really delivered and saved the day. The airline only issued a hotel voucher for 1 night, even though the rescheduled flight was 2 days later. I called the hotel and spoke to an amazing woman named Lani, explaining my mother's situation. Lani reassured me that she would do everything to make sure that my mother would be able to stay the second night and not have to travel back to the airport to try to get another hotel voucher. In her words, she "adopted my mother as her grandmother"! She handled everything with the airline to ensure that my mother could stay the second night and relax while waiting for the rescheduled fight. My mother is so relieved and is enjoying the beautiful view of the ocean from here room. Lani's sincere, dedicated level of service and care have guaranteed that all of my future hotel stays in Oahu will be at the Hawaii Prince Hotel!

The newly renovated lobby is spectacular. The former Prince Court restaurant has been remodeled and re-launched with a upscale look and name, 100 Sails. The food is excellent and service is always great.

It's a hotel in transition with super renovations that are ongoing. The serves was very good and parking was safe and quick access. But of course I was riding a motorcycle. Internet was fast and streaming videos was good. The analog temp control and wall paper need to go. I liked the granite bed stand tables, but the blonde wood needs a dark stain. The bathroom tile and marble was nice, but paint was needed in areas by the sink. The lack of a balcony was a disappointment, but I don't know if it was just my our room. I would love to see this place when it's done.

Great venue. The remodel looks really nice but still in progress. The food was okay for the catering but I'm not sure if my company just chose the cheaper dishes.

I had the lunch buffet at the recently opened 100 sails restaurant. It was a weekday lunch so I am guessing that the selection was different than a Sunday or special day like mothers day. For the price ($36) I was satisfied with the selection. The stars of the buffet was the shrimp tempura, poke and custom sushi handrails. There was no carving station. There was also a chicken curry, cooked fish, and several noodle dishes along with a good assortment of fruits, vegetables, and desserts. The service was great, but the restaurant wasn't very crowded when we were there. Definitely will go there again. Probably when they have a special buffet.

Attended a holiday work event at the Hawaii Prince Hotel. The hotel is currently under some renovation, but not to the point it was bothersome. The ballroom was very large and accommodating for our group (not sure the number, but 250+). Buffet was organized well and the food was slightly better than I expected since I tend to think large events will be sub-par level food.

Friendly and helpful staff at all levels. Great service, comfortable and clean rooms. Undergoing some renovation now so not everything is available and there's some construction noise during the day. Will come back!
