Hey all, a former coworker, , is helping a company called Hackfit (www.hackfit.com) throw a health and fitness-focused hackathon in SF from 3/21-3/23. They are trying to turn the notion of a hackathon on its head by infusing group fitness classes and healthy meals. Instead of a weekend with Red Bull and pizza, imagine taking breaks from coding your fitness/health app to participate in 100+ person yoga sessions, rock climbing classes, and fitness bootcamps. I really like this approach of blending worlds, especially because it's hard to be powered by caffeine for hours on end and think outside of the box at the same time.
Hackfit is bringing these events to other major cities, so check out other dates on their site!
