My thoughts on the emerging professionalization of Data Science and why people are trying to create communities of practitioners.
Google+ doesn't make it easy if you have both personal and professional Google accounts. It's difficult to tell which email address/persona a Google account is tied to. This, for instance, is my personal Google account, but if anyone has ever gotten email from my work address, they'll also see my work G+ profile, which I'd really rather just use within my workplace. Makes me want to photoshop the corporate logo across the forehead of the photo I use for my work G+ profile...
