Like all good period pieces, Gilles Bourdos integrates and fuses cinematography, landscape, casting, costume, dialog, soundtrack and color to make a lasting impression of Pierre Renoir (and family) in the final chapter to a long, celebratory artistic vision. Oh, the color and delicate pace! For the criticism look here:

Sketched in tones as bright and gorgeous as those its namesake artist put to canvas, the gauzy biopic Renoir portrays the domestic disruptions — and the artistic reawakening — of the Impressionist master's final days.

St. Paul's wonderfully peaceful atmosphere and spacious enviro is the perfect place for a midday break. The lunch buffet caters to a diverse palate... you will find something very tasty. Excellent soup, lamb, rice, salad, and baklava desert. I really enjoyed the company!
