Avro Lancaster NX611 "Just Jane" Virtual Tour

Still "work in progress", all the controls, instruments, and switches will be explained, but there's already a lot to see.

The virtual tour was created at and for the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre ( in East Kirkby, where you can get inside the bomber for a real taxy ride.

Scheduled: Lancaster bomber virtual tour

A complete virtual tour of one of the very few surviving Avro Lancaster bombers is scheduled for July. Two days are planned for the photography alone, covering all areas of the aircraft.
Although it will take some time to describe ever control, switch, or instrument, a first release should come online in late July!

New: Virtual Tour of the Farmers Bridge Locks in central ‪‎Birmingham‬

This linked series of interactive panoramas was created for the Birmingham Canal Navigations Society.
You can "walk" up and down the 13 locks of the Birmingham & Fazeley Canal, from the city centre at the top to the more industrial part at the bottom.
The famous Gas Street Basin and Old Turn Junction, although not part of Farmers Bridge Locks, are included.

+Birmingham City Council  has done an excellent job turning the once neglected canals into a feature they can be proud of!

New: de Havilland Vampire Interactive Cockpit Panorama

Vampire WZ507 is one of the stars of the British arir show scene.

All controls, instruments, and switches are explained when you move the cursor over them, you can also start the engine!

WZ507 is owned by the +Vampire preservation group based at +North Weald Airfield .

New: *Narrow Boat "Swallow" Virtual Tour*

The virtual tour was created at the Black Country Living Museum in Dudley, West Midlands, UK.
You can
- enter the engine room
- start the engine
- enter the cabin
- switch the cabin from "day" to "night" mode (click on the oil lamp)
- stand at the tiller
- explore a part of this amazing open air museum

All the switches and instruments are explained.
Move the cursor over one of them, and an description, in many cases with a static photo, will pop up.

You can:
- start and stop both engines;
- use the horn;
- use the fog signal;
- use the siren;
- listen to a radio check.
