Our puppet show have been staples of the summer reading program around the Bay Area for years, and this year is no different! Our Three Little Engineers puppet show is a spin on the classic children’s story of the Three Little Pigs, with an educational spin to teach kids about civil engineering and architecture in a fun and engaging manner.
This puppet show follows the Three Little Pigs as they set out to build their own homes using different materials, but before they can move in they’ll have to pass a visit from the Big Bad Building Inspector who just so happens to be a wolf! Along the way the audience will learn the importance of civil engineers and architects in our daily lives, the basic do’s and don’ts of engineering and construction, and how architecture ties into reading and puppetry.
This puppet show includes the feature presentation story, a behind the scenes segment, and an interactive meet-n-greet with the puppets. This makes for a great, varied summer reading program experience where the kids will get to laugh as they learn. The full puppet show runs about 35-40 minutes long (depending on audience size), and is great for ages 3-9 (the parents in attendance will have a good time as well).
