What is the role of Amber. What does Marina, which responsibility has Pharo: or in short: I would be interested in understanding the architecture ;)

Hi,
the new Pharo Website (Pharo.org) is very nice. But how does it work, how plays Amber, Pharo and Marina together ?

Cheers
Hans

Thanks for explanation :) I'm not experienced enough to see the big advantage compared to just taking a Seaside, I assume you have more possibilities on client side and a more agile data connection to the servers. Or is the benefit more for development ?

Cheers

Hi,
In Neo4j 2.0: I created a subgraph by filtering over relationships "(.....return filter (r in relationships(p) where CONDITION)". In this sub graph the web interface shows also relations which should be filtered out. Is it possible that the web interface draws all relationships between the available nodes of the subgraph (the query result) ? Giving the. Result as text list is correct ...
Can I avoid this effect ?

Cheers Hans

Extent the Moose: creating a graph processing environment. Fame, Moose and Roassal, all included in the Moose Suite are nice tools to describe, process an visualize graphs. I need this for functional safety, but I'm shure there would be a lot of different applications possible. Unfortunately, I'm not that experienced for coding with this stuff, especially to use and apply fame. But it is also not too difficult. So let's see what can be done :)

#Pharo for Graph vizualization. Event and Risk graphs in this case for #functional #safety applications. Which options do I have ? #Roassal and #Neo4J may be ?

It would be really cool to see such an application in Roassal.  I would find it useful at work. Roassal authors are very helpful and quick to add needed features.

One thing I've took from GDC Europe 2013: is #HTML5 an useful technogy for gaming or not ? Some people said to me "yes " some said "not at all" and some said "depends".
In any case, it seems that apps will keep staying on scene the next time - at least for gaming

Hi, is Geohi still under active development ? Since a long time we have the 0.8.2 beta out there ;)

I don't think so.  Some members of the community have been adding plug-ins on a steady basis.  However, I believe that the core Gephi developers have moved on to new stages in their careers.  I'm not sure how much they're supporting the product now.  They built an amazing piece of software, though.  Mathieu Bastian is at LinkedIn and Sebastien Heymann started a new company called Linkurious (http://linkurio.us/).

Will we see some day a #Pharo which could be operated with Web interface only like Brazil/Hopscotch in #Newspeak ?

Everything that is done happens because someone does it... I would like to do far more than I manage to do, but sadly, a day just has 24 hours. Getting Pharo to where it is now was already a lot of work...

Has anyone any hint for a #visualization, #modeling or #simulation conference in Europe ? My focus is systems engineering, in the Web you can find much, but to select to right one I think I would need advice ;)
