Pedestal paver systems are probably the easiest method of creating an absolutely level deck over a sloping surface using either porcelain, concrete or wood pavers. There's various types of pedestal systems about, and here's a blog with a short summary of the different types of pedestal systems.

Our 'Teknowood' porcelain pavers are a great hit with architects and developers. Why?

Because they offer a unique alternative to natural wood but are totally fireproof, stain resistant, scratch resistant, fade resistant and wont twist or warp. And they're virtually maintenance free.

We have them in 3 colors with a ribbed finish that replicates natural wood decking. Check it out at http://www.handydeck.com/kronos-mono-pedestal-pavers.html. Make sure to click the tabs to see colors and Gallery

Did you know our new range of porcelain stoneware pavers are just as affordable as our EzyTile range of interlocking deck tiles -  but stronger, stain resistant, fire proof, frost proof, scratch resistant and virtually maintenance free?

And they're available in an attractive range of stone look-alike colors- like granite, basalt, sandstone etc.

They aren't interlocking but you can still lay them over concrete or other surfaces using small support pads on each corner (or even adjustable height pedestals if you're looking for perfectly horizontal rooftop deck for example).

Interlocking deck tiles are the easiest way to bring a drab concrete patio or balcony to life.  And you're not restricted to just a wood look  but you can have slate, granite, sandstone, composite wood pebbles etc.
As they just click together, you can even take them up if you're planning to move and re-lay them in your new abode.

Check out our new simulated sandstone pavers. Looks just like natural banded sandstone but they are totally impervious to water so won't stain, won't suffer from freeze thaw cracking. And they are much lighter than concrete but still exceptionally strong. See more info at http://www.handydeck.com/stoneware-paving-slabs.php
