"This was my first visit to Orange Beach. I'm an all-inclusive type of beach vacation person and this hotel, I believe, sits right up there with those type of places in my opinion. This place is beautiful, clean, accommodating and close to ANYTHING you could want!" -- Jalco | 5/19/15; TripAdvisor

We stayed here for four days last week on my family's first time ever going to Orange Beach. Hard to beat this hotel for price, location, service and value. The complimentary breakfast every morning was great. Beach access was superb. The staff seemed friendly and on top of things. My only (mild) complaints are (1) the pool area could have been watched better by staff, as some kids got a bit rowdy and (2) I don't understand why you needed your room key card to open the door from the pool to the restrooms. Not having your card meant you had to walk around and drip water everywhere in the lobby

We had a very nice one night stay here. Stopped on the way home from Florida to Arkansas, and the sunrise with dolphins off the balcony were just fantastic. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were spot on. We will be going back to spend more time.

Great hotel on the beach. Our room, while a little small, (we weren't there much anyway) had a great little balcony overlooking the water, a mini fridge and microwave so we could have some drinks and snacks. Very clean and the staff are very friendly.

Worst experience ever. I arrived late on a Friday after traveling all day and the lady at the desk told me there was a fan in my room because the carpet had been cleaned. Don't ever fall for this line. If someone says there's a fan in the room go somewhere else and ask for your money back. When I asked for another room she said they were completely booked. It turns out the carpeting surrounding the air conditioning unit was completely soaked. The maintenance guy came up and vacuumed but to no avail. The lady at the front desk would not rebook me or refund my money. There is a sign on the desk that says if you are not completely satisfied you don't have to pay. It is 100% BS. I have no idea how long this leak has existed. There could be mold in the room as well. Do not ever stay here. I paid over $220 per night for a room that had a known maintenance problem and they booked me in the room because I was the last guy to check in. Totally unacceptable.

We spent several pleasurable days here in April, a week after the "spring break", so it was quiet and more adult-oriented. Our gulf-front room was very nice, the continental breakfast was completely satisfactory, and the staff was helpful in every respect. The beach was perfect with beautiful white sand. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. A "must" if you are in the area is the Cobalt Restaurant, a couple of miles away. The best seafood I've ever eaten.

BLACK MOLD - A fellow employee and myself had reservations at Hampton Inn and Suites in Orange Beach where our yearly medical conference was held, when we arrived and started to unpack one of us went into the bathroom and found BLACK MOLD in multiple places of the bathroom. We called down to the front desk to inform them of the problem and they apologized and moved us to another room next door. This room also had BLACK MOLD in multiple places of the bathroom. When we called down to let them know they assured us that it would be cleaned thoroughly while we were at our conference, but when we returned 8 hours later the BLACK MOLD was still there. Another call to the front desk only received a response of "I'm sorry", not even face to face with the front desk personnel changed anything. When the bill was given on the day of check out it was the full amount. I will forever check the bathroom area before I unpack no matter where I stay, if I ever stay anywhere again.
