The 6th Best of Brussels Symposium organized by the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine was a huge success for us! Our two ventilation workshops about individualized lung-protective ventilation had lots of interested attendees, and our President Jens Hallek was honoured to receive the award for Best Innovation Company. Thank you ISCCM!

#BedsideTip #PICU Check out our latest bedside tip on how to use measured airway mechanics in pediatric patients. The tip provides examples of adjusting settings for pressure, tidal volume (Vt), inspiratory and expiratory time (Ti, Te), and frequency according to the measured airway mechanics (RCexp, C, R) for different lung conditions in children.

#HamiltonMedicalCollege Check out our new #elearning module explaining two of the unique intelligent panels on Hamilton Medical ventilators: The Dynamic Lung and the Vent Status.

The Dynamic Lung panel provides key information about the ventilated patient at a glance, including tidal volume, compliance, resistance, and patient activity. The Vent Status panel quickly helps you assess the patient’s readiness to wean. Both are noninvasive and very useful during daily clinical practice.

Our e-learning platform is open to all and free of charge. All you need to do is register at https://college.hamilton-medical.com

#IntelligentVentilation Asynchronies are a frequent issue in ventilated patients and represent a failure to provide those patients with optimal assistance. Our new #whitepaper focuses on the phenomenon of asynchrony and different management possibilities, including automatic real time waveform analysis and detection of the patient's respiratory activity with IntelliSync+.
