Hi there. When I attempted to add my numbers to the spreadsheet just now, I encountered this error.

Reloading does not fix it.

About ten years ago, I became a zombie. “Your Hands” - a story by Halsted M. Bernard, now in Map Literary.
About ten years ago, I became a zombie. I got better, of course, but it was a scary time for me. (Zombies can feel fear. It’s a revelation, I know.) About ten years ago, I picked a scab and became ...

I will be reading a brand-new story for Writers' Bloc's Halloween event. Please come along if you can!

Even the Year of Natural Scotland has a dark side. Writers' Bloc celebrates Scotland’s outstanding unnatural strangeness in this evening of new fiction. For these modern urban storytellers, Halloween is traditionally the time when the stuff that doesn't make it into the glossies slithers to the edge of your vision. From stunning unnatural and historic terrors, to art inspired by supernature, to wildlife from your worst nightmares. Don’t miss the chance to experience the great Scottish outdoors before it comes into your house after you.

Join us at the Science Festival!

Bloc returns to the Edinburgh International Science Festival. The Writers' Bloc laboratory of writers, musicians and artists brings tales of science and surprises that detonate the cultural divide. Knitting music with maths, dropping purls from string theory and rolling loaded dice across blueprints, we aim to grab you by your molecules with a mind-blowing fusion of science and literature. Explore a world where speed dating pulls strange attractors and Frankenstein goes to Hollywood.

Simply put, this is my favourite restaurant in Edinburgh. The food, service, and ambience are all outstanding. Most dishes are naturally gluten-free -- a boon for those of us who have to worry about that sort of thing -- and the staff is knowledgeable and accommodating. Wonderful.

I cannot recommend Dolly & Mop highly enough! Laura is an absolute gem, and she has created a warm and lovely respite from the stressors of the world outside. I visit regularly to have my eyebrows shaped and my hair cut, and have never had anything less than an excellent experience here.
