Chef Jean-Paul Bourgeois grew up in Louisiana surrounded by family with passion for living off of the land and cooking with fresh seasonal ingredients. This passion influenced Chef Bourgeois to attend culinary school, study in France and to cook across the globe, from the Virgin Islands to New York City. He now calls New York home and the Executive Chef of Blue Smoke, part of Union Square Hospitality Group, where he recently launched a new menu with a spotlight on Southern cuisine with Cajun flair. Chef Bourgeois will join Host Chef Matthew Neissner of Hall’s Chophouse to take you on a flavorful culinary journey for the evening, along with Adam Campbell, winemaker for Elk Cove, who will pair the perfect wines for this amazing dinner. Join us for a festival Signature Dinner you do not want to miss!

A three-course Southern steakhouse luncheon featuring the restaurant’s extraordinary wet and dry-aged New York carved steaks alongside seasonal sides will be accompanied by pairings from Row Eleven Wine’s signature Pinot Noirs from California. Right from the start at the front door, we were greeted by a warm and friendly staff and management team. We were there celebrating my wife's birthday. The waiter Jerry was the best, his recommendation of the wine was superb. The salad, the steak and the sides were delectable. The manager, owner? brought both of us two glasses of bubbly and wished my wife a happy birthday and Jerry brought us their famous bread pudding with ice cream on it and a candle. We were stuffed and couldn't eat all the food. The music was wonderful and at our departure all said thanks and happy birthday again.

My wife and I visited Halls on our Honeymoon and it was a great experience. I don't know what was better the service or the food because they were both top notch! We were greeted by the family as soon as we arrived and treated like royalty. It was like we knew them for years. It was by the far the best experience we have ever had at a restaurant and I would highly recommend it to anyone in the area. Just an additional note that we talked with another couple while having some drinks and they also shared the same opinion of this place and she actually said they had been looking forward to coming back for the past year!!!! I wish we lived in the area because we would make this a tradition. Do yourself a favor and book a reservation. You will not regret it!!!

I have never done a review but Halls demands one. By far the BEST restaurant experience in my life. I have heard stories about how the people here are a bit overwhelming. NO! If you feel that way you are an ass and don't need to eat here. It feels like family. everyone has manners and are happy that you have come. All of the staff...i honestly have no words for their hospitality...we ordered a side dish and we received an absolutely magnificent appetizer. foie gras over lemon cheesecake with wild berries drizzled with i think balsamic but tasted like chocolate. I have eaten foie gras in many places NONE so delicious. The tenerloin...AWESOME! Dessert...AWESOME! We shook hands with Billy one of the owners several times. He brought free champagne to our table. Awesome! And he chased us out the door to thank us for our buisness.....THAT IS THE DEFINITION OF CUSTOMER SERVICE! !! I can only hope that other companies can grasp this concept. I usually look like a bum when i go out but next time i eat here i will certainly be up to par. 10 stars!!!

Too Meat Lovers, take notice. Nice Restaurant, however when you buy there top steak a 32oz porterhouse cooked WARM RARE for $72US you would expect exactly that. Steak that arrived was a mere T-bone not porterhouse and maybe 24oz at best. I know some of you will say that there is shrinkage due to cooking and the weight of the bone, but having had this steak there before, there was a noticeable change in size this time. I feel is you are paying the prices for there steaks at least make it close to the weight advertised. Enjoy at your own risk.

This restaurant is phenomenal. The owner greets you as you enter and exit the building. He even got us a cab and opened the door to it. The steaks are pricey, but well worth the money. The service was outstanding and not found anywhere else. If you are in the area treat yourself to this place. It has my seal of approval.

The service here was EXCELLENT!!!! The waiter was very knowledgeable and attentive to our needs. The food was great. I have absolutely no complaints about this place

Went to dinner tonight and ended up with a server named Candace. She was very nice at first, but as the night went on, her mood changed. She became snooty and seemed as if she wanted our table to leave the entire time. She rushed us to order our dinner, brought our checks immediately before we finished eating, and picked up everything off our table at the end of our meal. She stood over us and made us feel very uncomfortable. When we asked her questions, she was not welcoming at all and did not seem happy. The food was good, as always. I just wish that the service was as good as the last time I remembered it.
