Going swimming this summer?
A simple and effective way to minimise the damage caused by salt water or chlorine in the pool is to apply leave in conditioner or a cream before swimming and make sure to rinse your hair in the showers available at beaches and pools. This will help to remove excess salt and chlorine from your hair, preventing it from drying out after a whole day exposed to the sun.

Here’s a useful hair tip..... just because. :)
The sun and wind are really damaging so try using a scarf or hat to cover your head when you’re out in the sun. Not only does this provide extra UV protection, A hat reduces damage caused by wind and the sun, especially if your hair is prone to tangling, and it protects colour-treated hair.

We always get asked how often you should wash your hair?
So here is a tip.......
Try wash your hair less often, frequently washing your hair strips your scalp of its natural oils, which in turn stimulates additional oil production and makes you feel the need to wash it even more! Try just rinsing in the shower after a day at the beach or pool, and see if that gets rid of some extra oil. Or try dry shampoo we have a selection of Goldwell dry shampoo’s that are absolutely amazing!
