A closing ceremony on June 30 marked the completion of the Nepal Earthquake Assistance Program in Tupche, Nuwakot!

During the program, a total of 217 disaster resilient homes were rebuilt in the area and two community buildings were also handed over during the ceremony.
These buildings will serve as a facility for disaster refuge, community meetings, social events, and space to store community assets! http://ow.ly/i/GPDNH http://ow.ly/i/GPDO0

Can you spot the difference? As part of our project in Tavuya, Fiji, homes have been retrofitted to better withstand future disasters.

This means cyclone strapping to frames, additional screws to rooves and bolts to make the joints stronger! http://ow.ly/i/GDdD6
