Perfect for a quick bite. They have undergone a major renovation. Now HRD is open till 830 PM . The food is tasty and you can a great dose of hot sauce. My pick would be kimchi fried rice . Another pick would be crispy chicken po boy . The servings are big which makes it a sufficient meal size.

3 stars because it's good but a tad overrated. It's an interesting korean fusion place that serves up hearty meals. I love the concept, i mean who can't get behind the idea of wet, smothered burrito with chicken katsu in it?!?! That's just awesome. They've cleaned up their menu and now the menu is quite simple, but basically you have korean food mixed in with a variety of stuff into burritos, bowls, salads, etc. (I am sad though that they got rid of some classics like the loco moco :[ )The place is clean and vibrant, it has a nice modern vibe to it. The workers were really friendly and quick. I love how they make sure your order is correct and letting you check before giving it to you if you're taking it to go! I've tried their smothered wet burritos and their crispy chicken curry. I love love love their chicken! It's fried to perfection. I need to know their frying techniques because I need chicken that crisp and juicy in my life all the time! However, their curry is okay, nothing too special. It comes with a slaw dressed in a wasabi dressing which I wasn't really fond of but I did like the apple in the slaw. I also thought the kimchi potato cake was a little weird at first but it was interesting and it grew on me. Their wet burritos are the thing to get here, because it is super yummy. The sauce just makes it. Unfortunately though, wet burritos are great to eat fresh and every time I've seen this place, there has always been a line out the door and the place gets pretty packed. The lunch crowd is just relentless so prepare to wait. Parking is difficult since it is SF and it's close to AT & T park so be careful of "event parking" fees. They also have early hours so don't expect to come here for dinner.

Thank you for your review! I want to make sure we got this right... You love everything about our place, and would love to get our recipes as well, yet we are OVER-RATED?! The long line outside our doors, formed every day that we are open, including the fact that we service almost every 'Fortune 1000' company around us, beg to differ. Nevertheless, we respect your opinion immensely, and are deeply grateful for your visit.

I've always wanted to try this place after seeing it air on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives and it definitely did not disappoint. I came in around 11:30am to beat the lunch crowd and ordered a Bulgogi Kimchee burrito and a Spicy Pork Kimchee burrito. I ate half of each burrito and although HRD is known for their spicy pork kimchee burrito, I have to say that the Bulgogi Kimchee Burrito was so much better.

A no-frills place, but get ready to brave the line if you go at peak hours (they're only open during lunch hours most days). All I've had there is the spicy pork kimchee burrito, but in my opinion it's the way to go. Great Korean/Mexican fusion worthy of SF's burrito culture, and big enough to contend with any hulker in the Mission. For a bonus, take your meal to South Park nearby and have a nice meal outside.

When I moved to SF, I walked past HRD and saw one of the longest lines I have ever seen. With one sniff you could tell why everyone was waiting, the food is amazing! It's extremely cheap for San Fran. Pros: Staff is super nice and helpful and work as fas fast they can. The food is unbelievable. Cons: The wait, the hours! To sum it up, do yourself a favor and get the kimchi burrito or firecracker shrimp tempura, I also enjoy the kimchi pork bibimbap. Tell Gary hello! (Guy at the register, he's awesome) If you're from HRD and reading this, stay open later so I can get some for dinner! I LOVE THIS PLACE.

THANK YOU! Just a brief note to express our gratitude for your gracious and kind words! Chef David (pictured) and I are both grateful for your review and would like to thank you for being a valued guest at HRD! Indeed it has been our pleasure to have served you, and we look forward toward welcoming you again at HRD, hopefully sometimes soon! Regards, Sydney PS: Next time you are in, please ask for us, so we can say hello in person! Thanks again for your gracious words! PS: Started on last Thursday and Friday nights, we were open for dinner! We have not it announced yet on our social media accounts, as we want to stress-test the system first before our planned dinner openings. At the moment, we are awaiting the arrival of our Beer and Wine License (Should be here within the next few months). Once we have Beer and Wine, our new hours will be from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM 6 or perhaps even 7 days a week!

Awesome burritos and tacos for an honest price. Not much in the way of ambiance, but friendly enough service.

HOLY FUSED CULINARY CHRIST! I read the reviews of this place and I got my hopes up...they were EXCEEDED. I stood there is the tiny little lobby assaulted by sensual smells, a menu that has the ability to invoke fantasies without any pictures like a Gabriel Garcia Marquez novel and the sight of dish after dish rolling out of the kitchen at breakneck speeds ALL OF WHICH I WANTED. I'm picky so, this was no small feat. I bought two entree's for my self, and loved them both (and finished them later). GO HERE. You won't be disappointed. I've already been back since...
