Doesn't have the best curb appeal, but the small restaurant has a great story. Built across the street from the social security administration's old Human Resources Department, that's why they called the shop HRD. I was thinking the place was more of a restaurant but realized there wasn't that much seating. Felt more like a diner. Price: $14 for a spicy pork rice bowl and bottle of water. Most items on the menu start off around $10. I think for the money I definitely got my value and the portions were very reasonable. Quality: Food tasted fresh and was made to order. Wish they gave you more rice though to mix up the bowl. Service: Food came out within 10mins, and the manager(owner?) even personally came by to ask how the food was. Great service and speedy turnaround!

We stopped by for a quick lunch on a Saturday and there was no line. I've heard it can get really packed here. The restaurant is kind of small and there's limited seating, but service is fast so we were in and out quickly. The food is Korean fusion and is decently good for what it is. I had the spicy pork kimchi burrito and my boyfriend had the bulgogi rice plate. Both dishes were pretty good. The kiwi in the kimchi burrito adds a sweet flavor and surprisingly pairs well with the spicy pork. The meats in both dishes were a little bit dry but still flavorful. Prices are reasonable so I would come here again if I was in the area, but wouldn't go out of my way to do so.

Delicious spicy pork burrito. Insane flavours come together for an extremely tasty lunch at a very reasonable price. Ask for some of the wasabi sauce.

Korean breakfast?! Hell yes! My friend and I were on the way to watch the Giants when we realized we had some time to kill before the start of the game. We came across HRD and were initially perplexed, but as we read more and more into the menu items the hungrier we got! The place was packed, but it only took about 15 minutes to get to the front of the line, order our food, and get it. I ordered the bulgogi beef omelette special with brown rice; unfortunately, I ordered the brown rice to be replaced with white rice, but I guess they were so busy they didn't get to it. Surprisingly, the combination of the brown rice with the juicy and meaty omelette worked really well and brought the dish together with its texture and taste. We were so into our dishes that even when we finished our dishes we were caught staring at what else we could get next time! Then we realized that first pitch was in about 10 minutes! It's a sure bet that next time I'm in the area I'm going to hit up HRD and check out the rest of their menu: next dish up is the kimchee burrito and spicy pork!

I know I'm spoiled by the good Asian food in LA but even that aside, HRD was all hype and a huge let down Korean fusion from burritos and tacos to bowls and more ---spicy pork kimchi burrito: something about this burrito tasted like plastic, not sure if it was the tortilla or the rice, and the spicy pork was just ehhh! When there's a line out the door, don't worry, it moves fairly quickly and most of the lunch crowd takes their food to-go so finding seating was no problem

Excellent food. Korean-American fusion I think. Their burritos are to die for. Decent vegetarian options, but it's better for the meat eaters. It's a tiny place. Best to get your food to go. But the service is fast, so you're never waiting too long.

There are lines here stretching for what seems like miles at times, but that's because all of those people aren't wrong. This is a very, very yummy place. Weird fusion of burritos/tacos and Asian food, but it works!

I eat here every time I'm in SF. You'll see the line out the front at lunch time, but just get in line and do it, order the weirdest thing you can find, it'll all be amazing. Staff here are fast and friendly, the place runs like clockwork, and the food is great. Good vegetarian options.
