Now Available - RUSH's "Moving Pictures" in 48/24!:

"The early Eighties were an interesting time for prog rock. Bands like Rush, Genesis and Yes were shortening their songs, writing poppier tunes and actually landing huge hits on the radio. Punk had tried to kill prog, but all it did was convince the bands it was time for a change. Rush had been moving away from their grand epics for a couple of years before they cut Moving Pictures, partially influenced by bands like the Police. Fueled by the hits "Tom Sawyer" and "Limelight," Moving Pictures was a massive smash for Rush. Five of the seven songs are under five minutes, though "The Camera Eye" clocks in at a whopping 11:01. In many ways, this LP represented a commercial peak for the band.."

Now Available in Hi-Res 96/24! - Sly & The Family Stone's "Live at the Fillmore East October 4th & 5th 1968"

"This performance is living breathing evidence of how much of a force of nature Sly & the Family Stone were at this point of their career...Every member of the group shines in a way that I can only describe as a revelation. It was enjoyable listening to the band break free from the studio arrangements of the songs we know and love to find new interpretations. And to think they did this twice in one
evening!" - "Captain" Kirk Douglas of The Roots - via Rolling Stone

Now available in Hi-Res 96/24 - Earth, Wind & Fire's "Open Our Eyes"

"A pleasant miscellany of Africana, Latin rhythms, well-mannered funk, smooth jazz, Sly Stone, Stevie Wonder and the Fifth Dimension, Earth Wind & Fire's Open Our Eyes has both disco and easy-listening appeal, and it's so cheerful one scarcely minds the lack of focus and distinction...Among the distinctively positive elements: Maurice White's ringing kalimba, Andrew Woolfolk's fluent soprano sax, someone's eerie falsetto squeal, and everybody's good humor." - Rolling Stone
