How Much Water Does It Take To Fill My Pool?

Every pool owner has asked themselves this question at one time or another. Things are pretty simple if you are starting with a new pool. Just read your manual and chances are that it will tell you straight out. What happens if you have had your pool for a while? You can use the formulas below to calculate how much water you need so you can decide if you want to try to pull it from your well or order pool water delivery. Even if you have city water, calculate how much the extra water will cost you in water and sewage fees. You may be better off just letting H2O Express deliver you a short load od sparkling clean pool water.
When using these formulas remember to convert all your measurements to feet. For instance, if you pool is down 18 inches, use 1.5 feet to plug into the formula for the depth. If you are filling the whole pool use the actual pool depth dimensions.
RECTANGULAR OR SQUARE POOL: Length x Width x Average Depth x 7.5 = Total gallons needed
CIRCULAR POOLS: Diameter x Diameter x Average Depth x 5.9 = Total gallons needed
OVAL POOLS: Length x Width x Average Depth x 5.9 = Total gallons
When filling an entire pool that is sloped, you can get the Average Depth like this: Shallow End Depth + Deep End Depth Divided by 2 = Average Depth
For partial fills on all pools just convert the number of inches of water you need to bring the level up to full and convert it into feet and then insert your number in place of the Average Depth.
If you are too busy or just not too good at math, just call H2O Express and we will be glad to tell you how much pool water you need to be delivered. You will find our staff Fast and Friendly and our prices are competitive. Call us today at 518-791-2484.

Well, it looks like the weather just might be turning the corner. If you have a new pool get it filled with water as soon as possible especially if it is not heated. It will take a while for the reluctant Albany Capital District and Saratoga sun to warm that pool water. If you are just opening your pool, make sure you take care of all the spring maintenance so you will be able to enjoy the pool all summer without any headaches.
Depending on your water situation, you may want to call us to fill our swimming pool or just top it off. Our schedule is filling fast so Call us today so we can get you on the schedule right away. Remember we travel anywhere in the capital district and up to Lake George. We will even go into neighboring Vermont communities. Call us or leave a message on the website http://www.h2oexpress.co/ ,

Check out this 5 star Facebook review by Carrie Lemelin Wattie:
"My parents (Curt and Donna Lemelin) recently had a pool installed and didn't realize they needed water that same day. Within the hour H2o express delivered just what they needed. They were so pleased! They would highly recommend them. They are not on Facebook but wanted to provide this feedback."

Now this is what we call a back yard ice rink! These guys went all out with lighting and a canopy. It certainly has been cold enough this year to support an ice rink to try out those new Christmas skates. If you build it we can fill it!

Call H2O Express Transport 518-791-2484 to fill your ice rink with water or to top off a leaky pool with water to get you through until spring .
