Paris is always a Good Idea
June 30, 2016

Thanks to Annette Bettè Kellow.
Her stay at Caron de Beaumarchais will make the hotel unforgettable.
Do you know she was relaxing so much she missed her Eurostar back to London?
My adoration of Paris will never leave. From the cobbled streets to the romance of the boutique hotels down to the abundance of delicious food, it really has it all. With just 24 hours to spare I headed off to the mecca of ev...

This is such a cute hotel! There aren't very many rooms, so it's pretty quiet at night. The entire hotel is well-decorated, making the France experience just what one imagined. Even better, the hotel breakfast is only €13.

Highly recommend this most charming and comfortable hotel. The front desk are most helpful and accurate in their recommendations for restaurants to the best specialized markets for food or antiques. I would return here in a heartbeat. Best Location for everything and remarkably quiet too.

Loved everything about staying in this hotel! The location is perfect, within walking distance to Notre Dame, the Louvre, plenty of restaurants and boutiques, and of course there was the Bateau Bus to hop on for everything else! The hotel is small but this only adds to its charm and oh so French character. We requested a room on the 6th floor and the views over the rooftops of Paris was just gorgeous. Breakfast is very generous and we had the good fortune of having Bobby [the owners Scottish Terrier] keep us company. The staff were all very pleasant and gave us great insider information on museums, local restaurants and shops to explore. We will definitely return here and hopefully sooner rather than later.

This hotel is super charming, really well-located (right in the heart of Le Marais) and very reasonably priced. The decor is uniquely French, and they have just the best wallpaper. All Paris hotel rooms are small, but comparatively these are quite spacious-- the bathroom has a tub and space to change, which is not a guarantee in Parisian hotels. Each room has slightly different antique furniture, but all are charming. The staff was also very helpful, and spoke excellent English.

We spent a most enjoyable 3 nights here in January 2014. The decor is wonderful and the staff unbelievably helpful and friendly. With (I think) just 11 rooms its a brilliant little hotel right in the heart of things - a short walk to Notre Dame, the Latin Quarter, Centre Pompidou and lots more. Note this is a small hotel, has WiFi and serves a light breakfast but is not for people who want all the ammenities of a big 5 star alternative. We loved it.

Super friendly staff. Obviously they know the city really well and helped us in both Portuguese and English which was really cool. The rooms were nice, unfortunately despite multiple requests we werent able to reserve a room with a terrace but the location and helpful staff made up for it. Steps to Notre Dame and easy to jump on city buses. They have tons of great wine bars close by and the Best part is the CIty Bike rental station is right across the street! Place was a bit pricey but for Paris standards this hotel is very well maintained and ideally situated. I would definitely recommend this to anyone planning at trip to Paris.
