Going for a spin in the snow!
This video is almost laughably simple. A guy ties his iPhone to a string and spins it around whilst skiing down a mountain. The results, though, are jaw-droppingly cool.

An almost all-natural solution to a thoroughly man-made problem.
Outfitted with GoPros and solar-powered GPS trackers, the crew of carrion-loving vigilantes is sniffing out illegal dumps in Lima.

The old "deer in headlights" move.
Kids have different strategies when they get in trouble. Some yell, some lie, some run away. But this kid’s strategy is the cutest: he freezes.

In all fairness, turning into a statue is probably the best response. If they start flailing about, they could make things worse.

Human beings questioning the necessity of the mosquito is a frightful thought. If one is to pose such things, perhaps the real question should be; are people necessary? All you have to do is look around you to see who really is a threat to this planet.
Excellent article nonetheless.

Whoever thought honey hunting could be the most dangerous hunt of all?
In this BBC Earth clip, you’ll see a man climb a forty-meter tree and deal with angry bees just to get honey. Winnie the Pooh probably wouldn’t even go through all this trouble for som…

It only matters if he has talent. If not, then it is blatant nepotism. If he does have talent, then his name just helped him get his foot in the door. We've seen offspring of all kinds, sports/politics/entertainment given the chance before. Some make it. Some fail. We'll have to wait and see.

I wrote much of Enchantment, What the Plus!, and APE at La Tartine. I love that there's lots of parking across the street, there's good Wifi, and there are no VCs eating there. The staff is very nice, and the food is very good. It's as close to the Seine as you can get in Redwood City. :-) It would be nice if there were electric plugs on the east side of the restaurant.
