Patrons of the arts, assemble! The incredible, unique holocaust play having its Chicago premiere could use your support!

In Auschwitz, 1942, Jewish prisoners took it upon themselves at grave personal risk to perform comedy. Muse of Fire is their story.

This astounding play by Jake Rosenberg seeks to deepen and enrich our cultural understanding of Holocaust art and to expand what it means to remember.

Please give whatever you can, and/or help by sharing the campaign below!

Hello Community! Please consider supporting this unique production coming in February...

+genesistheatricals in association with +Redtwist Theatre in Chicago will present "Muse of Fire" in February of 2016. This play by Jake Rosenberg seeks to deepen and enrich our cultural understanding of Holocaust art and expanding what it means to remember.

"In Auschwitz, 1942, Jewish prisoners took it upon themselves at grave personal risk to perform comedy. This is their story, as one group struggles to perform a farce based on the first great anti-Semitic tragedy of the 20th century: the infamous Dreyfus Affair. As the play goes on, and dark secrets begin to emerge about the reason for its performance, those performing must ask themselves, can comedy truly have meaning in the face of horror? Who really has the last laugh?"

BOB: A Life in Five Acts is brilliant and hilarious and so well done that I feel it is my DUTY to tell you! This show deserves full damn houses for its final weekend, and you deserve to see it!

Guys, I've been having a BLAST doing Don't Dress For Dinner at +Citadel Theatre and it's about to close. We've gotten great reviews, we've had wonderful houses, and now there are only 4 shows left! If you haven't made it up to Lake Forest yet, grab some 1/2 price tickets off of Goldstar or Hot Tix and come see this damn funny farce!

Anyone planning to catch the Goodman's latest?
Don't miss the world premiere of Rebecca Gilman's Luna Gale, directed by Robert Falls. This gripping new drama starts January 18. Tickets & Info: www.goodmantheatre.org/luna

Caroline, a veteran social worker, thinks she has a typical case on her hands when she meets Peter and Karlie, two teenaged drug addicts accused of neglecting their baby (Luna Gale). But when she places their infant daughter in the care of Karlie’s mother, Caroline sparks a family conflict that exposes a shadowy, secretive past—and forces her to make a risky decision with potentially life-altering consequences. Powerful and arresting, Luna Gale is an unforgettable tale of faith and forgiveness.
