A new Brazilian style BBQ restaurant opened recently in Santa Ana. It's not ALL You Can Eat like most others, instead they charge by the pound. What's your take on that?

Came for some drinks. They had $5 sangria specials for the Make Music festival but apparently did not inform the staff because they charged us full price but later fixed it after we told them about the special they were promoting just right outside by the front door. So thank you for fixing the error! Lots of TV (A LOT) so if you are into sports it'd be a GREAT place to watch it, small bar area but its full bar and the bartenders are very friendly and attentive. I'd come back and hang out with friends over a drink or two.

I absolutely love this place! Lots of great menu items with HUGE food portions! Happy hour specials are amazing! $4 wine, $5 beer and cocktails as well as $5 select appetizers. The restaurant is very hipster with lots of seating area in the front and back. The bar area, however, is extremely small. Fiona was our bartender/server in the bar area and she was absolutely amazing!

Descent place for brunch. Came on a saturday morning, no problems finding parking. Sat in the outside patio area, it was a mild day with a mix of clouds and sun peeking through so it was a nice day to sit outside. The brunch menu isn't very extensive but they do offer unlimited mimosas for $15 with a purchase of an entree (which we did not have). Instead I just ordered their regular bloody mary to go with my meal and he had a beer. I had the hub Benedict which comes with two eggs on english muffin with turkey pastrami and avocados and the sides were potatoes and fruit (by fruit, the mean honeydew melon and cantaloupe...typical). What was interesting to me was they give you the option to have your eggs scrambled or fried with the benedict...not poached. But it didn't matter to me, I just asked for mine fried, overeasy. My meal was ok, nothing to rave about and it wasn't bad either. The bloody mary could have been a little stronger...did not taste any alcohol at all. Our waitress was nice...she could have been educated about the beer a little more, or at least take the time to ask the bartender but that wasn't too much of an issue. I wouldn't recommend the brunch here but I'd come back to try other items on the menu for lunch or dinner.

Had an early flight and got into the city quite early. Luckily, this place was open and just down the street from our hotel, so my friend and I came in here for a quick breakfast. The place is decorated like a 1950's diner with bar only type seating which is super cute. There are two oval shaped bars, just walk in and seat yourself. You are then greeted by one of a two servers who is essentially your server. Ours was an upbeat and sassy lady with a really fun attitude who joked with us throughout our dining experience here. They have a pretty extensive menu with lots of breakfast, lunch and dinner selections! They even serve wine and beer....naturally. When you place your order, your server shouts it out to the cooks in the open kitchen cooking your food. I had the two eggs with grilled chicken breast for $5.99 which also comes with hashbrowns. No frills and exactly what I wanted! Your order is written on a ticket, placed in front of you, so when you are done, just take the ticket to the cashier and pay.

Love Love Love this place! Came in for a quick caffeine fix and was greeted with "Welcome Home!" by a super nice and friendly staff member. The menu is simple but with many options to customize the exact drink you want. The friendly staff member (wish I remembered his name) was very patient with us and explained the menu to us and made flavoring recommendations based on what kind of drink we wanted (tea/coffee or hot/cold). They also offer different milk alternatives (all non dairy based) and add-ins like boba, aloe vera, chia seeds..etc. They also have their signature drinks, less thinking involved for those indecisive consumers (me). I ended up ordering a large hot jasmine green tea with vanilla flavoring (you can ask for lightly sweeten if you don't like your drinks too sweet, like me). My beau had a cold coffee with mexican spice flavoring and house milk. Both of our drinks were amazing!!! Loved it so much, we came back again the next day and this time I had the hot matcha tea with pistachio flavor and he had the cold matcha tea with vanilla mint flavor and house milk. Again, liquid refreshment craving satisfied! You'll be looking to spend about $5 per large beverage but it's totally worth it! Super hipster place sandwiched between two mexican joints, communal seating with lots of random books to keep you occupied while sipping on your drink. Wish they had one of these closer to home but for now, we'll have to wait for special occasions when we're around the area to drop in.

My home away from home in Coney Island. Was in town for a couple of weeks and my friend who lives across the street brought me here as a guest to work out, and when she couldn't take me, I came in with a day pass. It was super convenient just walking over here and the hours were pretty reasonable. The staff here were amazing as well! All the front desk staff that I encountered with were all super nice and knew that I was a guest from out of town. The gym is kept very clean. I saw the same maintenance guy working every time I came in and he was always wiping equipment down. It's still a fairly new gym so all the equipment are still in great shape. There are PLENTY of cardio equipment (almost too many) which were rarely used. Most of the people that I saw were here to lift weights. There is a small open and padded area where you can work with medicine balls, kettlebells, box jumps, and even a battlerope. Unfortunately this area is EXTREMELY small so you may be fighting for space. Because it is upstairs, you do get a nice view...well, at least I enjoyed it. Just like all other gyms, busy times are week nights and early morning on weekends. I never had any issues finding the weights and equipment that I needed which was nice.

Wine and oysters! What a perfect combo! Came here on a Saturday night and it was relatively crowded. It's a cute and cozy little wine bar with outdoor patio seating available. They have good wines at $20 a bottle which the beau and I shared, plus they have $1 oysters (east and west coast available). So we had a half dozen oysters plus some raw clams which the beau insisted I try. Everything was top notch and we truly enjoyed our lovely romantic date night here. The only thing that annoyed me was the bartender who spilled our wine, not once but TWICE. And didn't even offer to replace it even though we paid for the whole bottle. Other than that, if I lived in NY, you'd probably find me here often!
