Large desk/storage unit for my kids (twins) playroom/study.

This has keep me busy for more than a few weekends, took as long to finish it as it did to build it. Came out pretty well, but I will never user poly/stain on a large piece again as it was a nightmare to work with. Birch plywood with edge banding, pocket screws and glue.

I'm no Paul McAlister, but I has built furniture. Not bad for cull lumber and no jointer or planer. Bedside table for daughter's room.

Made a little more progress on my prototype, almost ready to hook a router to it.

Still working on the drag knife, still having issues... not sure what the exact problem is.  I am starting to think that the length might be an issue as my z axis has a bit of flex due to the unsupported wood the router mounts on, it is minor but 5 inches lower it is magnified quite a bit.  I modeled this as close as I could to the Donek 1/4" knife, the blade is centered to the rotation, with the blade tip offset ~.16", using VCarve Pro drag knife gadget to generate the path...   I am starting to think a tangential knife might be easier.
