How my mind works, Part II

There are certain moments on some of my days when I think in the way that resulted in this post. On those days, a good visual of my train of thought is as follows:

Imagine 3 wooden sticks jammed into a wall near each other in a triangular pattern. Tie a rope to the base of one of the sticks, and then wrap the rope around the outer surface of the other two cylinders. Repeat. 

The rope is my train of thought. It travels to a set number of points over and over, but as it does so, the thoughts on that point progress a little bit further from the point of origin because of the thickness of the rope.

It's fun and not, all at the same time.
