Republican politicians might not believe in climate change, but that doesn't mean voters aren't concerned about it.

Good news! Mexico intends to have its greenhouse gas emissions peak by 2026 and then begin to decline.
Mexico is the first developing nation to make its climate action pledge ahead of U.N. talks in Paris -- and it's actually pretty ambitious.

America's biggest and worst employer is coming to your neighborhood.

Japan is at it again. Back in December, they got caught trying to pass off $1 billion worth of investments in coal-fired power plants in Indonesia as funding to fight climate change.
Japan has spent nearly $2 billion for coal plants -- and they're calling it all "climate finance."

Introduction
You know how some people make lemonade out of lemons? At Grist, we’re making lemonade out of looming climate apocalypse. It's more fun than it sounds, trust us! We write about energy, food, transportation, cities, and all kinds of other things that matter -- and we get people off their butts.

We are a nonprofit organization, and our website and email services are free -- and worth every penny.
