I'm posting a few of the videos we made while building some of our sets for past photoshoots. Here is a time-lapse of us building the set for "The Dark Crystal Reimagined" fashion shoot last October... yep, that was a lot of work!

Here's how I made the V-Flats I use in my studio. They have been a life-saver!

A review I did for the Gamilight Octave53. Great modifier for portraits!

Finishing up a few tutorials on Photoshop before bed tonight, learning a bit about the "Dragan" style of photography. If you are not familiar with Andrzej Dragan's work you should check it out... striking, empty, powerful, and, at times, just plain eerie. It reminded me of the Simon Fraser University campus in Burnaby, Canada which, as chance would have it, I just visited this last weekend to collect pictures to be used as backgrounds for my "Sci-Fi" photo series. You may recognize the campus as Caprica from the "Battlestar Galactica" reboot. Designed in the 60s by architect Arthur Erickson, the campus is amazingly beautiful but, well, just a bit off. Stunning, but all of the dimensions are just a little, I don't know, twilight zone. This is apparently not lost on the students who go there (which included my wife for a time) as it, from what I hear, has a ridiculously high suicide rate. Anyway, Dragon's photos... they would fit right in there.

My first post, interested to hear what you all think. I obviously tend towards the deeper saturated colors, too much? Just right? What could be done to improve the photo?
