Just to share one example, I remember a bug in Google+ where I would
1. see a post that had an embedded youtube vid
2. click to play the vid (which works)
3. click to maximize the video to full screen
4. watch as that happens, then reverts the maximize, rewinds the video to the start and stops the vid from playing.
That was in Google Chrome. It's fixed now, but it was reality for a while. Same vid post worked just fine in IE10 or 11 (forgot the version).
One more for ya. I remember Youtube.com messing up in Chrome. Open a video (not embedded), and it would play for a few seconds, rewind to start, play a few seconds, etc. Worked fine in IE.
Programmers are all human and they'll screw up from time to time. Doesn't matter who hires them.
