Just as the segway revolutionized and popularized personal transportation, this will revolutionize the whole balancing-a-cube-on-its-end industry. This market has never seen innovation of any kind, and incumbent businesses in this space should quake in fear.

Buy stock now, while its cheap, because in 10 years, my friend, the other players in this space will all be out of business.
balancing isn't just for segways anymore, or how to make physics high school class interesting for the dim-witted. i somehow missed this the first time around.

How was burning man?  Was it everything you hoped it would be?  Did you get a chance to see temple burn before heading out?  Are you already on your way to China?

Feeling very strange about being rejected from the jury by prosecution.  Best guess as to why is that when asked whether I had any negative experiences with police officers I confessed that I was at the G20 protests in London where the officer killed one of the protesters with inappropriate use of force; I then followed up with the fact that the great majority of us had a pretty good experience, even if we were corralled in.

Either that, or it was the joke that followed; the gentleman informed me that there would be officers present in the courtroom, and would I find that disturbing or would it impair my judgement, I said "No, sir, I definitely like a man in uniform."

But I've been perceived as biased, and I think I find that an affront.  While I wasn't either side's perfect juror, I was at least not professing that I couldn't abide the fifth amendment, if taken (several did), that they couldn't obey a requirement to prove intent (again, several others), or that they felt they weren't sure they couldn't separate their emotions from the facts of the case.

Honest truth - every single person reading this has been either directly or indirectly touched by crime.  In all probability, every single person reading this probably also knows indirectly the story of inappropriate police actions.  A jury of your peers is going to have experienced both.

So I'm kind of horrified/saddened.  I'm also happy, of course - no criminal trial is easy to sit through, and it made it likely I would miss Burning Man (or at least part of it).
