Did You Miss Your Scheduled Court Date? (https://goo.gl/k8jQRn)

Since a bail bond serves the purpose of ensuring the appearance of the defendant in court, it is important to remember to attend your scheduled court date. If you do miss your scheduled court date, it is important to know that the judge will forfeit the bail bond, and they will also issue a bench warrant for your arrest.

Our bail agents can file documents with the court that explain the failure to appear, and we can also formally ask the court to reinstate the bail bond. The time that this process takes can vary, since courts may take between two to ten days to schedule the hearing.

If a bail bond is reinstated, this means that the court will accept the request from the bail agency to reinstate the bail bond back to the original terms and conditions before the missed court date occurred. When this is complete, this also means that is free on bond.

If you have any questions about the bail bonds process, please feel free to visit our frequently asked questions page on our website, which will provide you with answers to questions that we often hear. If you need additional assistance, please call us toll-free at (888) 449-2663.
