Thanks for your nice words. Sign Language is such a fascinating communication form. Even Christmas carols are thus signed.

There's always a camera nearby, but this one was not aimed at that couple, just looks like it was.

Looking forward to the "Image as Location" International conference at Sutradja Dai Hall, UC Berkeley. It seems that we trust images to guide us through the universe. What are the risks, what are the opportunities? Come discuss with +Emmanuel Alloa, +Steven Johnson, + Monica Lam, +Kristen Whissel, Michael Naimark, Oliver Grau and many orthers.
When man-made images constitute the evidence of our environment and even our existence, how is our perception of the world manipulated and shaped? Our planet is wrapped in images. From stratospheric satellite stills to disembodied medical x-rays, we use pictures to describe our environment with ...

Look out for polychroma, a new game by undergrad students  +Meena Vempaty, +Brendan Rafeld, Chris Brown, Nicola Garroute and their team at UC Berkeley. In the game, you have to switch color modes to jump through obstacles and collect parts of a shattered prism. It looks ans sounds very innovative, and gameplay is tricky but calming. Download available soon!
