Can anyone provide step-by-step instructions for how to adjust the content stream slider bar for a given Circle or Community?

As far as I know, slider bars are only for circles right now, not for communities.

When viewing your "Home" screen, there are some buttons across the top (just above your stream).  Click the one for the circle you would like to change (you may need to click "More" to find it.)

Now you will see posts only for that circle, and there will be a slider in the upper right of your screen - this is to adjust how much of this circle's posts contribute to your "All" stream.

(Note:  This is done in a desktop browser.  I don't know of a way to adjust sliders in a mobile app or mobile browser.)

"Whenever you attend a wedding there’s a forced, obligatory, hyper gaiety, everyone congratulating the young couple, hugging them, “we’re so happy for you.” At the reception, everybody drinks too much because there’s the feeling, the subtext that many people share, that the marriage is a terrible mistake, that the couple isn’t a good fit, and that the relationship will end in disaster - even worse than did those of everyone attending the event.

And the couple choose gifts they can use for the rest of their lives, which appear in a registry at a department store: silverware and dishes and stemware and fruit bowls and warming trays and linen and pickle knives and corn forks and salt and pepper shakers and candle sticks and blenders and saucepans and coffee machines and microwave ovens, so the newlyweds can begin their new life together in comfort.

And the registry business is sinister; you walk into a department store, ask for the list of gifts the couple wants, see which ones have already been chosen by other people, and how much they cost, and then you’re left to pick one of the remaining items. Of course, you’re looking for something within your financial range, not too expensive, and not too embarrassingly modest. For example, if you’ve just lost your job, you might buy one place setting for an eight-piece set. And as you examine all the items, you wonder should I get the fruit bowl or the warming tray? And sometimes you’ll look at the list and there will be nothing that speaks to you personally, nothing you would ever buy for anyone if you had a choice in the matter, and you feel as if you’re being used, as if your love for the couple is based on money." A nice quiet bank in Lincoln Park with great customer service. Highly recommended.

Went to this Starbucks location and was told I could get a free refill. When I came back with my receipt the barista informed me that "I'll do it just this once, but it's policy that you can't leave the premises and come back for a refill." When I brought it to his attention that this a store with no cafe he just shrugged his shoulders.

Great selection of beer and wine but you are made to feel very uncomfortable the entire time you are in the store (an employee stands in the back of the store staring at you even if you are a regular customer).

Not a bad place considering the restraints they have to operate within. I have never waited THAT long. I will say though that getting in touch by phone is all but impossible.

Used to be a much better restaurant. Food has become very pricey (Andersonville neighborhood) and the service remains an issue.
