My dad is recovering from Lung Cancer and a stroke. He sat for a portrait with me yesterday. It was quite emotional for both of us.

I had Dragon Burger on the recommend of the staff and it was fantastic. It came with a side of homemade mushroom soup that also exceeded my expectations. Service was efficient and friendly. The cafe was clean and nicely appointed. Don't miss this place if you are a little hungry and in downtown Nanaimo.

Awful, awful service. I bought an iPhone through this store and paid for the "extended warranty" (I wasn't made aware of the Applecare option by the salesman). When my phone stopped working (brick) without being dropped or getting wet I took it back to have it repaired/replaced. I was given a loaner phone (a terrible little Nokia flip phone that barley makes calls) and told my phone would be two to three weeks being repaired or replaced. I had to make an hour and a half drive the next day because the charger they gave me for the loaner was the wrong type for the phone. The clerk was totally unapologetic about his error. It's now been six weeks and I still don't have my phone back. I've talked to people by phone at the store and no-one has followed up with me by phone. I'm sitting here now trying to get through by phone (twenty minutes so far) and no-one picks up. Don't buy anything here. They only care about the sale. There is no customer service.
